Wry and Callous Grin → Demure Smile

...as I consider my next move and review my options, the first thing to standout to me is half of what pissed me off to begin with. That being, Lilian's insufferable 'grin.' I think of what to exchange it for, and as I ponder my temper cools. Slightly. Considering very little I can do to her now will rival my opening move to damage to her character... I decide to calm down a bit and focus on refining what I've begun. For a start, if I'm going to be spending time with this woman - as implicated by her presence in my chambers and the title '****' - then what sort of woman would I want her to be?

The first thing that comes to mind is 'not what she's been,' so I exchange 'wry and callous grin' for a 'demure smile,' thinking to myself how ironic it would be to make her the sort of proper lady she professed to be... now that all nobility and power has been stripped from her.

Lilian's grin softens into a wide, gentle smile, and her hair is shortened back toward her collarbone in length. Then she gets a pair of pearl earrings, her bowtie returns to its previous configuration as a large and frilly choker with brooch, and her apparel in general becomes more feminine and fancy and.. definitely believably 'wealthy.'

I suppose making her 'demure' restored some of the nobility to her choice of attire, if nothing else. Or perhaps to say, it made her clothes more feminine... though I wonder at why she's dressed so fancily with her current status. The castle does treat its servants quite well, so maybe it's just a... visual reputation thing? I dunno: it's a question I'd have to ask one of the royals - or Cheryl if I was feeling brave - if I wanted a proper answer for it, I guess.

...I hope Cheryl's bluff doesn't hold true as I'm worried it might. This is probably-definitely a misuse of power by her standards.
