It turned out to be quite good!

New day arrived and you woke up to get some breakfast from your own supplies. And since you are too lazy too cook anything at the moment, it's just more oatcakes with some pecans for breakfast.

After eaten breakfast, you took a bath in the bathtub and change your outfit. Then, you headed out to leave to buy more stuffs for yourself and maybe to even get a job to earn some money since the future still looked uncertain here.

But as soon as you opened the door, you found Brittany is standing before you and she dressed up exactly like how she dressed up when she took you out on a date back when you and her were staying at Port Williams.

"Brittany? What are you doing here?" You asked, wondering why she appeared in such a dress.

"Well, I come here to ask that... do you wanted to go out and have breakfast with me or not?" Brittany asked as she's blushing hard and also fidget her hands a little.

"Ooh... well... I..." You said but then, your stomach growled, clearly demanding for some more foods because the oatcakes and some pecans appeared to not be enough.

"Can that be taken as a yes?" Brittany asked as she's still blushing with hope that the answer will be yes.

Since your stomach is demanding for more foods, you have no reason to refuse her. So you said yes and decide to go out with her. And lucky for you and her, the youngest coachman and his mother also come with them since they have nothing left for them in Port Williams. So they borrowed one of the carriages from the servants of the Sullivan family and leave with the Williams family's coachman driving for you and Brittany into the city.

After quite a ride, you and Brittany arrived at the marketplace near the harbor. Once you and Brittany stepped outside to see the marketplace, you and her get to see the activities that are happening here. There are plenty of foods being sold such as a variety of noodles and pastas in their soups and sauces, grilled meats and vegetables, along with other goods such as fabrics, soaps, shampoos and perfumes.

Near the marketplace are plenty of inns, cafes, shops, workshops and even brothels. Since it is hard to choose, you and Brittany settled to have breakfast at one of the cafes before leaving to go inside the nearby marketplace. After having grilled sausages made from meats of pygmy bison with eggs and some oatcakes for breakfasts, you and Brittany leave to explore the market after you paid for the meals.

Inside the market, you and Brittany had fun exploring and buying things together. You and Brittany bought new clothes for you and herself, buy some foods for Bartholomew who is still Brittany's pet, some toys for her nephew, and some souvenirs for everyone in Brittany's family and Elijah. And of course, you helped a little girl out by buying all flowers that she is selling on the streets from her and given them to Brittany.

For the whole morning, you and Brittany have fun together like a loving couple on a date.

As you and Brittany are about to go and have lunch together at one of the nearby restaurants, you see something that bring a frown to your face.

A **** market!

There, you see peoples of various ethnic backgrounds are being auctioned and sold off as slaves in to the ones who given the **** traders the best prices. You cannot helped but feeling bad for them. However, you know that you cannot saved all of them. Brittany noticed you glaring at the place where the slaves are being auctioned and then sold off with disdain.

"You... wanted to buy one?" Brittany asked with uncertainty in her voice.

"Huh?!" You said as you turned to look at the young woman who came with you as date.

"Buy one of the slaves, duh!" Brittany said as she's staring back at you.

"... are you... serious?" You asked her, wanting to make sure that she will not get jealous or misunderstand you under any circumstances.

"I almost ended up becoming one myself had you not rescued me back then. So... yeah." Brittany said with determination in her eyes and seriousness on her face. In fact, she even given you one of her small bags of copper coins for this.

With confirmation from her that you needed not to fear repercussion from her, you stepped forward and join the crowd of buyers who are participating in the auction. Then, you take a look at the slaves both on the stage and in the line nearby. Then, your eyes landed on a young Native American woman with long black hair down to her waists in rags.

Taking pity of her, you decided to buy her.

"This one is 30 copper coins, mister." One of the **** traders said as he's showing the young Native American woman like she is a product.

You paid him 30 copper coins and then, he given her to you. Now, this young woman of Native American origin is yours.

"So... what's your new?" You asked her nicely in order to not frighten her.

"... Rain... Rain Blue... that's my name, Master..." The female ****, now identified herself as Rain, replied back to you.
