Not distantly far from the port, you and the others behind the trench can hearing the sounds of gunfire and fighting from multiple directions in this burning town, suggesting that the other inhabitants of Port Williams who did not make it to the port in time or are intending to make it to the port but failed to do so in time are now resorting to fighting from door-to-door and window-to-window against the enemies now for the sake of survival.

"Mrs. Williams!" The familiar voice of Richard spoke in a middle of the darkness as he's appearing out of the shadow near the recently-finished trench with some armed folks. And he is holding Mr. Williams as a hostage! And he is bleeding from his head with a concussion!

"Dad!" Brittany and her brothers said in unison after they saw their family's butler is holding their father as hostage but you, Martina and her family hold them back from rushing out to rescue him.

"GRANDPA!" Issac yelled but Lydia simply picked him up before her son can do anything irrational.

"If you wanted to live, I suggested surrender is the best option in this scenario!" Richard said as he's holding Mr. Williams as his hostage while also aiming a blade at his neck!

"Why are you doing this?! We have been nothing but nice to you, Richard!" Mrs. Williams said as she's looking at the butler of her family with disbelief and sadness.

"Can you say the same about my son, Thomas?! He just became a father! But then your husband sent him to die along with the other unfortunate souls that are those volunteers in an expedition to assist the Hellhounds gang in their war against another gang! Thanks to your husband, my grandson is now fatherless and my daughter-in-law is now a widow! This is why I managed to gather a group of followers within the settlement in the first place! They shared the same thought as me! You took the lives of our loved ones from us by sending them to die in your damn wars!" Richard said as he's still aiming the blade at his hostage.

"Richard! Your son was a member of the Security Corps! He knew what he signed himself up to! And I did not know it was going to end like that! I certainly did not know that Thomas and all the men we sent will died that day! Plus, I already compensated your family and the other families that lost their loved ones in that tragic expedition!" Edward said as he turned to look at his treacherous butler.

"Silence! I am so done with your lies and false promises, Mr. Williams! And if you think paying compensation will make us happy, you are so damn wrong because money cannot bring back my son to life!" Richard as he's piercing the neck of his former boss, making him bleed a little but the wound is too small to be life-threatening.

Suddenly, a gunshot occurred and Richard Marley was shot right in the hand that is holding a blade by Chief Vargas, forcing him to drop his weapon and let the hostage go! And as Mr. Williams is running to get across the trench and reunite with his family, the remnant of the officers from the Security Corps and all thirty guards of Princess Sapphire begin to open fire on the traitors, either killing them on the spots or incapacitating them by injuring them!

And after the treacherous butler and his band of traitors are now either killed or surrendered, you suddenly realized one thing! Brittany's pet is nowhere to be seen since you returned to the manor after the end of your definitely-not-a-date with Brittany yesterday! And more importantly, can they overturned the battle with this final stand at the port with a trench, some barricades and a flotilla since they are now surrounded both on land by the invading anarchistic marauders and in the river with a blockade by a river pirates' fleet?
