Wishes from Andor 2/2

Zep. Zep drifted over the elven village. She had tried to make them laugh but only a few had.it had been getting harder and harder as time when by. She wished they could get there happiness back and their pride and strength. They were so sad all the time now so worried. It was sad to see them like this and she trie so hard to help but it kept getting harder and harder. As the sun set Zep felt the world shudder and looked up. A Dragonfall! She could make a wish! The dragon would want something in return but she could help the elves remember who they had bin, they could remember when they were strong and proud. She cast out her wish and a warm feeling rushed back in return. The wend blew and she rushed up to catch a ride north her new friends were waiting and she needed to say thank you.

Blackthorn. His long war continued. The lumber camp was destroyed and the fore’s would reclaim the land quickly. Deeper within this ancient forest the grove would be safe for now. He paused standing in the middle of the clearing that had recently been a camp. He was not tired, for how could the forest tire? He simply basked in the evening sun before beginning his night march to a new attack on the ancient forest. He remembered the ancient time when he and the elven guards protected the first sacred glade. When the goddesses power had flowed through the land. He had wished many times for the return of that ancient and sacred place. He fought now to protect the old forests that had grown out from that place. As he stood there, he felt a pulse, a shift in the world and he looked up. In the dying light an age ended and a new one began as a dragon fell. He had a chance. He cast out his wish. The resulting pulse rippled through the forest Blackthorn turned towards the heart of the forest where the first Sacred Glade had stood and now stood again he would gather fellow protectors as he traveled and take up the guardianship of the sacred grove once again.

Bonius. He sat on the top balcony of his tower. His pipe held in one had. He brooded over his last apprentice. A noble scion of a house known fore there power and knowledge. She had some talent and intelligence, the fact she was easy on the eyes helped. But she had neither patience nor dedication. She the arcane as a quick way to personal power. He had been **** to send her away when he realized she would either destroy herself or everyone around her if he continued to pass his wisdom to her. She had not taken it well, calling him every unpleasant thing she could think of before he teleported her out of his tower and pulled up the shields around it. He side, what would his legacy become without the right apprentice. Would his name be forgotten to the ages? His tower someday raided by those who would only pick through for what they could immediately use and burn the rest in spite or ignorance? If only he could find the right magi to pass his legacy to. Who would comprehend and expand on what he had discovered and created. His musings were interrupted by a shiver in the very fabric of reality. His gaze snapped up in wonder. A Dragonfall, and this time not a mindless brute or greedy tirant. No the sole that would forge a new age was one that sought companionship and friendship. Best of all he felt the near limitless arcane potential in the new Dragon. Quickly he cast out his wish and as the response came, he smiled tucking away his tower for safe keeping and stepping through the portal.

For some reason I always group these three together in my head so going forward they are going to be sisters in arms who work together.

Vesilia, Bixi, Delathwyn. The three sat around the small stew pot chatting quietly. It had been a few dats on the road and they were looking forward to the next town. Soft beds, a bath, not having to sleep in shifts and some paying work would all be nice. They had spent many an evening like this, slowly growing to trust one another bonding over shared trials and emotions. Suddenly Bixi jumped up “ No! It can’t be!” Delathwyn was only a moment behind in feeling what had set Bixi of and looked in awh to the burning streak descending from the heavens. Following her companions Vesilia starred at the clear sign of a Dragonfall. All of them looked at each other, they had talked about what they would wish fore if given the chance, but it had been the talk of those who would never get to make that wish. Now the chance was before them and they all hoped the other two would forgive them for what they were about to do. Then at the same moment three wishes went out and the entire campsite vanished in a burst of light.
