What does Jason have planned for the next day?
Starting off fairly normal, then updating Chloe.
Chapter 4 – Finally Making some Progress. (continued)
Jason woke when his sister was shifting out of his arms, and this time he didn’t feel the need to return to sleep in his own bed. Instead he got to his feet and moved up behind her as she was pulling clothes out of her dresser. “Good morning.” He whispered, hugging her from behind and placing a kiss into her mussed hair.
“Morning, you.” She replied, nestling into his embrace. “I have to take a shower, so you’re gonna have to let me go.”
“Maybe someday I could shower with you.” He said, releasing her from his arms and watching her get up and move around the room.
“I can’t imagine a situation where that wouldn’t be too risky. I think we should keep this in our bedroom, always with the door locked.” With an arm full of clean clothes, Alex picked up her toiletry kit and a large towel on her way towards the door. “Love you, Bear. Just be careful, okay?”
“I will be, I promise.” He mimed crossing his heart over his chest. Then she was out the door.
So Jason checked his phone where he’d left it charging the night before.
Alexandra Kelly

Special Traits: Fantasy Crush, **** Kink, Taboo Kink
Suppressed Traits: Secret Shame*
Active Effects: Suppress special trait (Secret Shame).
Temporary Traits: Lesser Protective Ward
He wasn’t surprised at the amount of change, though he did wonder if it took more work to gain points towards attitudes that were already high, such as Alex’s affection. But he didn’t linger long, because he’d seen a new profile pop up overnight, just below Alex’s.
Persephone Kelly
Relationship: Brother, Mentor
Prominent Attitudes (out of 100): Affection 81, Admiration 78, Playfulness 78, Trust 74, Loyalty 71, Love 70, Friendship 62, Submissiveness 54
His youngest sister, Percy, had somehow ended up on the list, despite him not having interacted with her at all recently. He was a bit surprised by just how high most of her attitudes were, particularly her trust and loyalty. He hadn’t realized she thought so highly of him. But as he was wondering about that he decided to check his notifications, starting with Skype.
He’d expected a message from ‘Stephani’, but instead the question of why Percy was on the MRE App was answered.
:PercyFunny: hey J made it to Hell
The message had been sent about an hour ago, before he and Alex had gotten up.
:Jason: Helena doesn’t like it when you call her that.
He turned as the door opened, and Alex reentered the room, already dressed, but with her hair wrapped in a towel.
“You Skyping with Steph… that girl pretending to be Stephani?” She asked.
“No, it’s Percy, actually. She wanted to let me know she’d made it to Helena’s house this morning.”
“Oh, tell her I said hi.” She said, smiling.
Jason smiled as well, and turned back to his phone.
:Jason: Alex says hello.
He didn’t expect a reply right away, since she appeared to be offline, so he turned his attention back to his middle sister as she dried her hair. “Do we need to talk about anything that happened last night?”
Alex paused, and regarded him, thinking over things before responding. “I’m pretty happy with how things went.” She said at last. “Are you?”
Jason nodded. “Yeah, it was fun, and pretty special. I’m glad we got the chance to do that.”
“It felt amazing.” She said, her cheeks flushed pink. “I’ve never really…”
“Never had sex?” Jason raised an eyebrow.
“Shut up! I’m not a virgin.” She protested.
“Wait, really?” Jason gasped.
“Don’t act so surprised. You remember that guy I dated in sophomore year, Nick?”
“Yeah, he was on the track team.” Jason did remember him. It hadn’t been very long, just a few months, but he guessed that was enough for some people. “I didn’t know. And I didn’t mean anything bad by it. I’m still a virgin, afterall.”
“Right. You mentioned that.” She looked chagrined. “What I meant was that I’d never had anyone else pleasure me with their hands like that, and it was so much better than doing it myself.”
Jason grinned, feeling his ego a little inflated by her praise, though he tried not to let it show. “Well, I’m glad I could do that for you then. Hopefully it will feel even better once I’ve had more practice.”
“Well, if it does, I’ll be one lucky sister.” She told him, coming into his arms and giving him a light kiss. “I gotta go now, but I’m sure we’ll talk more this evening.” She added, once she’d pulled away. “Chloe is staying the night, right?”
Jason nodded, “That was the plan.”
“I guess we can... talk a bit, about this whole thing.”
“Yeah, and don’t worry. I’m not keeping secrets from her, or you, I promise. She’s fully on board with this.”
“It still might be a little awkward.” She sighed, but then picked up her backpack. “See you this evening. Oh and, do something about your morning breath.” And with that she unlocked the door and left the room.
Jason made it in to work a bit early for once, and had time to respond to another pair of Skype messages.
:Stephani: Hope you had fun last night. I know I did.
:Jason: Yeah, thanks for everything you did. I’m feeling a bit hopeful.
:Jason: I told you about my camping trip already. But as a reminder I won’t have much internet access this weekend, starting tomorrow morning.
Then to his youngest sister.
:PercyFunny: Hella can suck it shouldn be readin my PMs anyway
:PercyFunny: hi alex
:Jason: Why are you so mean to Helena? She’s letting you stay at her place.
He double checked the app, and noted that Louisa’s profile had moved near the top, meaning she’d been the one to message him. Then he put his phone away and went inside.
He didn’t have much interaction with Allison during the first part of the morning. Then a few hours in he went to deliver a report, and found Allison on her lunch break in the break room sitting across from a man he’d never met before. He appeared to be a bit older than Miss Carn, maybe in his forties or fifties, with a bit of grey in his short beard. But he was still in good shape with a lean figure that spoke of some regular athletic activity.
“Ah, Mister Kelly, do you have that report for me?” Allison asked as she got up from her seat.
Jason nodded, and handed over the flash drive. “Everything’s on there for the last month. I’ll leave you to your lunch.”
She smiled, but then as he turned to leave he caught sight of the unknown man as he stood up, leaning in to give Ms. Carn a kiss. “I should be going too. Enjoy your lunch.” He said before following Jason out the door, heading for the stairs that led back down to the lobby.
This must be Allison’s boyfriend, Jason mused. Then when he got his own break, he took the opportunity to check his phone, starting with new Skype messages.
:Stephani: I remember.
:Stephani: Hope you have fun on your trip.
:Jason: Thanks. I’ll tell you about it when I get back.
Then he checked the app. Louisa was still on top, though Christine was right below her, so he guessed they’d each sent one of the messages. But even above them was Allison and…
Jerome Bryant
Relationship: Acquaintance
Prominent Attitudes (out of 100): None
That must be the name of Allison’s friend, possibly boyfriend. He’d never seen someone with no attitude scores show up on the app before. And he noted there was no profile picture either. He had to wonder why some people had profile pics and others didn’t, but a quick scan through seemed to confirm that only people with high attitude values of at least 20 or more had profile pictures.
There were no major changes, however, and no response yet from Percy, so he put his phone away and focused on finishing his snack before he would need to get back to work.
Shortly before he got off work, Jason noticed he had a new text from Chloe, and Skype messages from Percy and Jenny. He waited until he was in his car before replying.
:Chloe: Hey, I’m all packed, want to meet for a late lunch before heading back to your place?
:Jason: Sure, tacos on Harbor?
Then he went to Skype.
:BagOTricks7: I gave Chloe the photos, so don’t worry about transferring them through Skype.
He did have to wonder when Jenny would change her screen name, but she seemed to like it, so there was no point bugging her about it.
:Jason: Alright, sounds good.
And finally on to his sister.
:PercyFunny: Not mean, jus has a funny name
:PercyFunny: I dont say it to her face
:Jason: You’re one to talk. We all have funny names.
Jason couldn’t help but smile, but then he got a text back as he was starting his car.
:Chloe: See you there.
It didn’t take him long to arrive at the fast food restaurant he’d indicated, and before he’d entered the building he saw Lynn’s Charger pull into the parking lot, so he redirected towards it.
“Hey Lynn, wasn’t expecting you too.” He said when he saw the two Navajo sisters getting out of the car.
“I’m just dropping Chloe off. She can’t carry all her things for the trip on her bike. Can we load it into your car before you two eat?” Lynn took off her sunglasses as Jason approached. She was wearing a much more casual outfit than Jason usually saw her in, consisting of a v-neck blouse with poufy sleeves and form fitting black slacks that really hugged her thighs and hips, accessorized with a wide red belt around her waist.
“Yeah certainly. You look nice, Lynn.” He replied, turning to unlock his Accord while Chloe and Lynn opened up the back of the Charger and started grabbing bags.
“Thanks.” Lynn said with a cheeky smile. “Save some of that charm for your girlfriend, aye?”
Jason smiled and nodded, then turned his smile on Chloe, who smiled back.
With Jason’s help it only took about a minute to transfer everything to his car. Then Lynn gave each of them a hug in turn, “You take care of each other, and have fun. I’ll see you on Sunday.”
“We will.” Jason assured her.
“See you Sunday.” Chloe agreed.
They waved as Lynn got back in her car and drove away then Jason turned back to Chloe. “Shall we?” He asked, taking in her current look. She was in her usual jeans and denim jacket, but had traded her cowboy boots for some barely used hiking boots.
“Yeah, I’m hungry.” Chloe agreed, and the two of them went into the restaurant together.
“So, I can tell you’ve got news for me.” Chloe observed once they were inside.
“Am I that obvious?” Jason blushed.
“Only to someone whose known you as long as I have.” Chloe grinned at his discomfiture.
“Wait till we’re seated with our food.”
They each made their orders separately then sat at a table in one corner as they waited for it to be brought out. “Show me the app, then you can explain any major changes.” Chloe insisted in a low town.
“We don’t actually have our food yet.” Jason pointed out, but still set his phone on the table between them, and opened the MRE app. Then at Chloe’s direction he navigated to her profile, which was on the top of the list.
Chloe Yazzie
Relationship: Boyfriend, Co-Conspirator, Gaming Buddy
Prominent Attitudes (out of 100): Loyalty 90, Friendship 74, Affection 69, Lust 62, Trust 59, Playfulness 44 (+1), Protectiveness 42, Love 42
Special Traits: Confidante, Partner in Crime
Hidden Traits*: Deeply Rooted Trauma, Self Loathing, Taboo Geass
Active Effects: Reveal hidden traits and details.
“There’s been some changes since the last time you showed me.” Chloe observed, then added, “I’m a lusty little slut.”
Jason couldn’t help but chuckle, “Not so little, and hardly a slut.” He reached out to touch her face, and she made a show of nuzzling her cheek into his hand.
“So who’s Summer Rae?” She asked when she saw who was next on the list of profiles between hers and Lynn’s.
Summer Rae
Relationship: Customer
Prominent Attitudes (out of 100): Friendship 4
“Wait, you’re a customer?” Chloe’s brow furrowed.
Jason, meanwhile, glanced up at the petite dark-skinned cashier that had taken their orders who matched the profile pic Chloe was examining. Jason blinked, and looked back down at the profile. “Huh, I thought only people who had high attitude scores had profile pics.”
Chloe looked from him back down to the app on his phone and back to him. “It’s something I noticed recently.” Jason explained. “Just today in fact. For the most part, only people with an attitude of 20 or more, give or take, have profile pics.”
“Ah, so who’s this Summer girl then?” Jason nodded towards the cashier, and Chloe followed his gaze, recognition lighting up her face. “Wow, I guess you come here a lot?”
“It’s my favorite place to stop for food on my way home from work or to work, particularly if I’m short on time.”
Chloe nodded, then paused as Summer brought their food out and set the trays on the table in front of each of them. “Enjoy!” She said with a practiced smile.
“Any changes to Lynn’s profile?” Chloe asked while watching Summer walk away, a contemplative look on her face.
Jason checked. There didn’t seem to be anything new there, so he scanned further down the list. He showed Chloe Percy’s profile, and she nodded when she saw her high attitude scores. Then seeing Jenny’s profile reminded her to show Jason the flash drive with the photos on it she’d been given.
But then they got to Jerome Bryant’s profile.
“No profile pic on this one.” Chloe observed.
“Yeah, no attitude scores at all.” He pointed out. “I think this is Allison’s boyfriend. He showed up to eat lunch with her at work today.”
“Ah. Well I guess you know, at least.”
“I’m not a hundred percent certain; I only have that one piece of evidence.”
“It’s a good bet though, at least.” Chloe insisted. “Have you tried the little switch icon next to the relationship?” She asked, pointing to a symbol that looked like two arrows forming a circle pointing around to each other.
“I haven’t.” Jason admitted then tapped on the symbol she’d indicated.
Jerome Bryant
Relationship: Boss’s Boyfriend
Prominent Attitudes (out of 100): None
“So by default, it shows what you are to them, but clicking on that switches it to show what their relationship is to you. That could be useful.” Chloe observed. “I wonder what other features of the app you’ve missed because you never bothered to tap on things.” She mused with a teasing tone. “So what about Allison herself?”
“No major changes or new revelations.” Jason explained, shaking his head at how dense he could be sometimes.
Then as they scrolled past the Dubois sisters’ profiles, Jason explained about the Skype call he’d had with them the previous night, and his suspicions about when and why they had switched which of them was on screen.
He then told her about Heather’s apology, and going to the gym with her the previous day, even though they didn’t really work out together.
But then they got to Alex’s profile. “So, after I suppressed that trait on Monday, Alex and I were able to talk about her kink, and agreed to explore it a bit. She knows that ‘Stephani’ isn’t real, though I don’t think I mentioned that it’s two girls not one pretending to be her, and she knows you and I are dating, as well that you know about her and are okay with us doing things together. In fact, last night she let me finger her to orgasm and she returned the favor with her hand. She seemed to thoroughly enjoy it.” He explained the last part in a low tone, leaning close over the table as Chloe ate her food and watched him attentively.
“Holy muffins! Were you two naked?” She whispered.
Jason shook his head. “I put my hand down her pajama pants, and she lowered my shorts down my legs, but didn’t take them off.”
“That’s amazing.” Chloe whispered fiercely.
Jason nodded. He was at least half-hard just from Chloe’s reaction to his description alongside the memory of being with his sister.
They both jumped, startled, when Summer appeared next to their table and asked, “You two need anything? Napkins, drink refills?”
“Uh, we’re good.” Chloe mumbled, and Jason nodded his agreement. Then once Summer was moving away, Chloe turned back to Jason.
“I just had a thought. Can you show me the perks list?” She asked.
Jason nodded, but noticed a notification pop up before he could navigate there, “Percy just Skyped me back.” He observed.
“Go ahead and read it then.” She allowed, sitting back and taking a bite of her salsa-free burrito.
:PercyFunny: only cause mom n dad r obsessed with ancient greek names
Chloe snorted when Jason read the last couple messages from Percy to her out loud. “She’s not wrong. Yours is the most normal name out of all of them, but it’s also perhaps the most famous, Mister Argonaut.”
“I can’t argue with that.” Jason admitted, but then navigated to the perk menu in the MRE app.
“What was it you are looking for?” He asked as he started to scroll.
“There.” She said, pointing to the perk for revealing hidden traits and details.
“Why that? You’ve already…”
“Just click it.” She insisted. So Jason did as she asked. When it asked him whose profile he wanted to use it on, Chloe pointed to Summer Rae’s profile. “Check the cost.” She instructed.
“Huh, it’s cheaper for her.” He observed when he saw the price was only 12 energy.
“Go ahead and buy it.”
“Are you sure? I’m really close to being able to get your effect.”
“Yeah, it’s not expensive, and I really want to see if my hunch is right.”
Jason nodded, and applied the perk, then navigated back to Summer’s profile.
Summer Rae
Relationship: Customer
Prominent Attitudes (out of 100): Lust 53* (Revealed), Submissiveness 17* (Revealed), Friendship 4
Hidden Traits*: Size Kink
Active Effects: Reveal hidden traits and details.
Temporary Traits: Frustrated Lust* (Revealed)
“I knew it! She’s totally into you. Definitely not surprised with that one.” She pointed to the hidden trait. “Look at the description of that temporary trait.” She added.
“This person is feeling frustrated over sexual desires they are unable to satisfy on their own due to experiencing a sudden and unwanted change in their lifestyle or relationships.” Jason read aloud.
“Sounds like a bad breakup.” Chloe mused, glancing across the dining room to where the girl in question was taking another order. “About how tall would you say she is? She can’t be more than five feet, right?”
“If that.” Jason replied. “You know I’ve got a pretty decent eye for height. I think she might be a couple inches below five feet.”
“Damn, and I thought my sister was a short-cake.”
“We can’t all be unusually tall. And for every giant like me, there’s bound to be a shorter girl like her.”
“She’s not as curvy as Lynn, though.” Chloe turned back towards Jason.
He shrugged, “She’s still cute.”
“So you’d hit that?” Chloe asked, raising one eyebrow.
Jason was startled, though he supposed he shouldn’t be. “Yeah, definitely; if you wanted me to?” He made it a question.
“You want to hear my idea?”
What is Chloe’s idea?
