Finish this once and for all.

Even the tussle between Aris and Nae is **** away upon impact of your swords. Never before have you faced Lauo from the other perspective, yet the blade you wield within your two hands now seems to be harnessing the exact same power, while his has nothing to pull from whatsoever. This must be the strength of Invisible Ties. You no longer need Lauo to do as you once did. You're the weapon. Lightning crackles out in all directions, tearing at the seams of Nae's void room. Nearby debris from the meteor shower explode into fragments.

You pull back, allowing him to take the lead temporarily, but this only lures him into allowing for a Bunny Hop. He stumbles forward the moment you vanish, and you appear immediately behind him. With a spin, you heave the curved blade around, and with a scream of pain and especially anger, Elok Daven's left arm severs from his body. It flops to the ground, and he stumbles back as Lauo in his other hand shakes.

"You can't--" His eyes widen. There's a madness deep within. His pupils shrink, and his bright cyan irises flash into a blinding light. The same magical energy tears down the seems over his face, and like a dragon, it burns from between his teeth like flames. "I made you!" he screams, though his voice reverberates out as if it's coming from somewhere distant--some place deep inside. It doesn't sound human. "If it wasn't for me, you'd still be on Earth, and you'd be nothing! Nobody!"

You retreat back a few steps, unsure of what exactly he's doing. It looks like he's about to erupt. "If you'd like, I can thank Breiah for bringing me here."

"But without our experiments, you'd have died! No magic. No class. Nothing."

"Yet her grandfather survived, didn't he? Maybe you've been so obsessed with this that you didn't consider other paths people have taken. If Isekai Theory is this ancient thing, who knows how many people have come from Earth and made a life? There might even be other ways to get powers."

"This. Is. Power." He slams he foot down, and to your surprise, the shockwave forces you back. It nearly knocks you over. He then begins to tremble unsettlingly. The lights glow brighter--more erratic, out of control. Then as he turns to the sky, he unleashes a mighty scream. His body twists and contorts like bugs beneath his skin. Each muscle in his body grows twice in size. His suit tears open, leaving him covered in scraps, and his cloak wafts to the side. His slicked-back blond hair grows longer, and curls at the ends. Now more than ever, he looks like he's a moment short of exploding, but it's all or nothing for him. He squeezes Lauo within his oversized hand, though now it looks like a dagger within it. He leaps forward with alarming speed, and begins to stab frantically.

Each attack is not only more powerful than before, but faster. The second jab catches you off guard, slicing your cheek. Though you begin swinging Nyllia's sword, knocking his following blows away as you match his movements yet again.

You lead him away, strafing to the side as you continue to dodge and strike back. You manage to jab into his leg, and then slash open his side, and each attack seems to **** more mana to leak from his body. It sparks and crackles, sending bolts of chaotic energy in every direction. Then finally, you hop back, and allow him to charge forwards.

Once again, he does so with incredible speed, but as soon as his foot hits your previously set Entangle, blue tendrils burst up and grab his foot. He doesn't fall, but he slams his other foot down and is knocked entirely off-balance. While he's open, you lunge forward next, and deliver one hefty, devastating slash over his torso, cutting him open deeply. He roars and he grabs onto his chest--energy spewing through, burning his fingers.

It isn't even words escaping him anymore. They sound like noises from a feral beast.

"Kyle!" Aris calls out from above. "The tear. It's still there. Someone just needs to carve it open."

"You shut up!" Nae growls, pulling on her sister's cosmic hair.

You look to where she first came in. Though you don't see anything, you trust her words. As Elok pulls his foot free, tearing the blue tendrils apart, you make a dash away. You can hear him thumping behind you, running on all-fours now as he's quickly closing the gap. But just before he can swing his sword, you squat for only a second before using Bunny Hop to appear right before the tiniest hole in space. It's hardly larger than a fingernail.

You feel as if you could fight Elok yourself, but it's almost as if there's something calling to you. While you don't hear anyone, you can feel them. This is not just your fight anymore. With one mighty jab, you thrust your sword into the hole, and you tear it vertically. Through the void, you can once again see the chamber from before, though there's no more fighting. Most of the ALICEs have dispersed, though some remain, and otherwise the room is filled with scrap metal and scorch marks. Immediately on the other side are three people--Niki, Eva, and Amara.

The first to notice is Niki. She turns, and her crimson eyes widen. She grins wide. "Oh fuck yeah!" Without even thinking, she runs straight in, past you and towards Elok Daven.

"Where are you going?!" Eva calls out. "You don't even know--Oh forget it." She then follows next.

Right behind her comes Amara. "Do not forget about me!"

Unable to hold it any longer, you pull the sword back, and the tear closes back up into a tiny hole once more. You then face Elok, one more time, with your party in front of you. They ready themselves for battle, and you step forward as their commander.

He roars, swinging Lauo a round like a monkey would a stick. He's losing himself completely.

"All right, hotties. Are you ready?" you ask.

Eva turns. "Wh-What did you just call us?"

"I am not entirely certain about that name, but I am flattered," Amara says with a smile.

"Damn right I'm a hottie!" Niki shouts. "Let's go!"

"Charge!" you shout, throwing the tip of your weapon forwards. As you do, you follow with, "Flare Bolt!"

The blast of pink flames blinds him.

Next comes Niki, who throws her weight into his stomach shield-first. She then swings her mace into his knee, cracking the bone and dropping him lower towards the ground.

Eva flicks her wand and shouts, "Magic Bolt!" not once nor twice, but three times in a row, sending out a barrage of potent arcane arrows which detonate over various parts of his body.

"Celestial..." Amara conjures, churning her silver staff like a mixing spoon. She thrusts it forward as she calls out, "Blast!" A wave of glistening white and gold energy scorches over her opponent's upper chest.

This continues a moment longer. Niki roughs him up, Eva shoots him down, and Amara provides support from behind. Then at last, now that you feel even stronger than ever before with your closest allies at your side, you run forwards with Nyllia's blade bursting with energy. Amara parts to the side, Eva keeps her distance, and Niki dodges out of the way as you come charging through like a bull. You then grasp the handle as tight as you can within your hands, stop, reel back, and swing up towards his neck. In a flash of cyan, his head soars up off his body, and you follow through with one final thrust straight into his chest where his heart should be. Your brown hair blows back from the shock of energy released, but you squint your eyes and grit your teeth as you push through.

You disengage quickly after, watching from a short distance away with Niki, Eva, and Amara, and Elok Daven's head hits the ground. The body tips back, and crashes with a noise that echoes out across the entirety of the void.

"No, no, no!" Nae grabs her own pigtails in distress. "All my work, and he squanders it like a moron."

Aris sneaks up from behind, and thrusts her down onto her chest against the floor. "You're finished. Everything is wrecked, your business partner is dead, and it's time to go home. So just admit already that my Trial of the Erotrain was cooler."

"Never!"

"Then at least dismiss us from your realm and bring the lair back to normal."

"Fine... Whatever."

You watch in awe as the darkness pulls away, starting from the sky cracking apart. It doesn't take long before you're all once again within the final chamber. All of your allies are there, and after they notice Elok Daven's mutated, lifeless body without a head, they begin to cheer. Some do so silently, but you can tell even William is happy.

Speaking of which, he's the first to approach. He holds his hand out, and in seconds, he absorbs an unseen **** from the corpse into his ring. For a moment, he looks to be in pain. The power is so overwhelming that he's **** to grasp his arm with his other hand, and keep himself steady. When it's done, he breathes a sigh of relief and turns away. "We're finished here then. Jika. Trin. Stilet. Ribi. Juggernaut. Storm. Let's go."

You look to him with a brow raised. "That's it? We just defeated the Elok Daven. You wouldn't want to just yoink some power from his body and leave, right?"

"I would." He turns back to face you with hands behind his back. "I have much to do. Surely this isn't the end of your journey, is it?"

"Well... I mean, kinda. All I've wanted to do is live a life of peace with those I care about. Elok was the one keeping me from doing that. Or rather, David. Whatever you want to call him. I don't know what else I'd want to do other than make sure Tivera is fine."

"Interesting." He reaches up and readjusts his glasses. "This was only one of my goals. I have ambitions that don't involve that man, and perhaps you should as well. You wouldn't want to squander the gifts you've been given."

"I suppose. At least for now, I'm going to rest. We'll see what tomorrow brings."

He steps slowly back over to you. "Kyle. This world is grand and special. Just as Elok had said before, one in our position could easily conquer it. His ambitions, however, were twisted by madness. And at the end of the day, he was just another experiment. If you want to continue to be called Demon King, perhaps you should expand your reach. Even Lady Vex seems to ignore this."

"Hey!" Vex nearby raises a hand to her ear. "Speak up! Say that again, and I'll come over there and show you what a Demon King can do."

You look him over. "What exactly were you able to sap from his soul? What other powers have you absorbed?"

"You have your secrets, I have mine. We may do things differently, but the end goal is the same. We become stronger. And with the power of Elok Daven, I'll make sure nobody like him ever threatens me, my loved ones, or Earth. Goodbye for now, Kyle. I'll be interested to see what you do in the future." Then once again, he turns and meets back up with his allies. Together they begin to depart.

Meanwhile, you look to everybody else--Castle Phoenix and Circle of the Unicorn alike. They're all here, and the deserve to celebrate. Though you do need to know what's going on in Tolis, Avana, and back home, yet Aris is completely drained.

You withdraw the Sending Stone from your pocket and bring it to your lips. "Yin. Are you still there? I need a report."

When an answer doesn't come straight away, you grow nervous. But suddenly, Yin's voice replies. "Kyle!" It sounds happy. "We managed to defend our home with no casualties, though there will be a lot of repairs required. The Edge appeared suddenly, and I don't think we would have won without his surprise attack. How are you?"

"Amazing. Elok Daven is dead. Breiah fled. We'll catch up completely when I get back. Anything else?"

"Yes! Moments ago, Lynx, Snow, Rose, and Mina arrived, along with Amara's mother Yaera Tedrilui. They said that the battle in Avana has concluded. There's much to be fixed, and there's no way to no right now how many people were injured or worse, but the battle was won."

"Did they know anything about Tolis?"

"No. They came here straight away. Oh. Snow wants to speak with you."

After some rustling, you hear the catfolk talk instead. "Yes. Hello, Kyle. I want to claim responsibility for my executive decision to return to Castle Phoenix after the battle instead of following through though the tunnel to meet with the rest. After so many had gone already, I wanted to make sure--"

"It's fine, Snow. That's the best decision you could have made. If I were there right now, I'd pat you on the head."

"I'll pretend you're doing it now."

Kashura suddenly bumps into from behind. "Ah. I can still open a portal if you desire aid from a beautiful, talented sorceress, to return home I mean."

Lady Sulta chuckles. "And I am able to as well. Perhaps we should return to your home, Kyle.

You raise place Nyllia's sword back into its owner's hands. "Thank you again," you say with a smile and a bow. Then you step over to retrieve your weapon, which you hold up high as you shout for everyone's attention. "I want this place picked clean! Anything of value, retrieve it. Don't think about where it's going, or what it's for. Take it, and when finished, return here. We'll open as many portals as are necessary, and I'll use my Bunny Hop as much as I can."

Speaking of which, you're draining fast. You didn't notice at first, but you're no longer surging with power. You feel heavier than before. Still, you're not done yet.
