Final check-in: Front B

Things aren't going well in Avana. They were at first, but with the coming of the ELIS and the reinforcements along with him, once again the tables have turned. Snow watches from a rooftop with her bow ready just in case, though the man of gold is on the hunt. He grips his glaive as he marches down the street, all while the automatons around him spread out in all directions. He leaves the hulking, draconic machine behind for the time being. Snow may be skilled at remaining unseen, but she dreads what will happen the moment this thing detects any form of life.

As she pursues from the shadows, she glances to the side to thankfully see a familiar face. Lynx looks back at her, hood-down, and nods.

"Elok. Breiah. Whoever. They really had a lot of time to plan from the shadows, huh?" Lynx says. "They're full of surprises. That thing looks tough."

Snow furls her brow. "Yeah. The worst part is everything else. Those constructs of his are going to cause a lot of destruction, or worse, ****. Then we apparently have a metal dragon to slay, because I doubt that thing only exists to transport."

While Bill & Phill as well as Zazra are fighting elsewhere, Yaera continues to fend off those just outside of the town, along with the guards who chose to leave Tolis and ride with her into battle.

Another duo watches as well, however, but it isn't long before they're seen. The ELIS turns his attention up to a rooftop, but it isn't where Snow or Lynx are lurking. Those atop react in fear the moment his cyan gaze falls upon them. It's Rose and Mina. The moment this happens, Rose withdraws a dagger in each hand to prepare for combat, while Mina takes a step back behind her leg. They grit their teeth as they watch the golden man prepare to attack.

Then, the ELIS vaults forwards. He reaches the roof with ease, and climbs his way towards them. He then thrusts his glaive forward, but it's parried away by another.

Allie stands with her weapon crossed with his. "... You look just like him," she mutters before throwing the weight of his attack to the side.

Rose looks confused. "So she's on our side?" she asks to Mina.

The squeakin shrugs. "I guess so!"

Both combatants pace around one another, moving a distance from both Rose and Mina--tips of their polearms aimed forwards, ready to strike. Two of Elok's creations face off with one another. The reality of the situation isn't lost on Allie. She struggles as she's **** to look her creator in the face. "Let me guess. You are the better version of me, right?"

The ELIS doesn't respond.

Allie grunts. "We'll see."

An arrow suddenly strikes the ELIS' shoulder. Immediately, Allie takes advantage of this and thrusts her weapon forwards, though as awkwardly as he does, the golem does in fact block the attack and dodge out of the way. The arrow, however, remains in his gold-like flesh, and it's soon met with a dagger just below it. This time, Allie doesn't miss. Her glaive slashes open the side of his body, forcing him to disengage and reassess the situation.

Across the street are Snow and Lynx who have now made themselves known.

That isn't the end, however. Just when the ELIS feels as if he knows the threat ahead of him, a devastating blow crushes the back of his head. It leaves a noticeable dent, and it causes him to stumble forwards, nearly to the ground. Not only is the sound of the impact loud, but it's followed by a, "Hiya!" noise of exertion from a mighty young woman who has just entered the battlefield.

Though one of her eyes is covered by the bangs of her short, messy, black hair, her other shines with a golden shine of her own. Horns extend up from her forehead, and a spaded tail zigzags out from behind her body to the side. It's incredible just how much impact that blow delivered given her petite stature, though this is no helpless girl. She wears a top that looks more like a sports bra, and it's black with purposely torn edges where the white trim flares outward. In the center of the top is the stitching of a horned skull. Her shorts are much the same, though the tearing is even more prevalent. She grins with excitement as she clenches her right fist--one that holds a set of brass knuckles.

"If anyone tries to help me in this fight, I'll kick their ass too," Lady Vex calls out. "Nobody is taking this opportunity away from me. To break the face of Elok Daven. So everybody else better go help the people of Avana, cuz there's a bunch of bullshit everywhere. Though, maybe you can all just go take a nap, because the reinforcements I brought are all we're gonna need."

Quick on her feet, she moves to deliver a deadly kick of her bare foot against the shaft of his glaive. It forces him back a step, but she uses this moment to leap from his weapon and deliver a spinning kick to the side of his head. She lands, but looks to see Allie behind him with a strike of her own. She slashes his resilient body with the blade of her weapon, but Vex looks to her with a scowl. "What did I just say?"

"Sorry. Kick my ass if you want, but this fight is person for me," Allie says.

Vex looks her up and down, and then turns her eyes back to the ELIS. She grins. "Fine. But nobody else."

Across the street, Snow looks to Lynx. "Let's deal with the dragon," she says.

Lynx nods back. "Good plan."

Rose and Mina hurry away from the altercation as well. "Let's see to everyone's safe escape," Rose commands.

Mina salutes. "You've got it!"
