Beep beep beep

The master bedroom wasn’t difficult to find. At the top of the stairs, at the end of the hall, the door was ajar revealing a large king-sized bed, plus carpet, and a pair of dressers, one of which held a mirror framed by light bulbs. On one side of the room a door led to an ensuite, while the other side had a door to a large walk-in closet, mostly filled with outfits that must have belonged to this Brittany woman.

Walking through a stranger’s house while completely naked was even stranger than walking outside. Outside was scary, uncomfortable, but inside the house he felt enclosed, dirty even. It really felt like he was doing something wrong, like he shouldn’t be there.

That said, Peter was fully aware that every person on the planet, including Steve, the guy downstairs, would encourage and incentivize Peter into acting like Brittany. Even Brittany herself, should she walk into the room, would probably spend the day coaching Peter into how to act more and more like her, at least until the day was up. And then Peter would move on, only to be trapped in the next day’s task.

If only his mother had given him the phone number of his uncle. Sure, Peter was pretty sure that even Uncle Larry would be **** to play along with the tasks, but as far as Peter could figure, as the guy who gifted him the PDA, Uncle Larry had the best chance of helping Peter out of his mess. As it stood, his uncle probably wouldn’t even take his call. Why would he? He didn’t know Brittany, so why would he take the person who had to pretend to be her seriously.

Maybe the next day would give them a chance to connect.

In the meantime, Peter stood in Brittany’s closet and thought things through. How was he to dress in her clothes? Aside from the fact that Peter had no desire to wear women’s clothing, he could see an even bigger problem. He had never met Brittany, but by the pictures he’d passed in the hallway, they were nowhere near the same size.

Brittany was a short, thin, busty woman. Peter was a tall, lanky, wide shouldered man. Those two body types generally didn’t share the same size. There was no way Peter could fit into the clothes without either damaging the items or damaging himself.

To prove his point, Peter grabbed a blouse from its hanger. Turning to the full-length mirror on the far wall of the closet, he held the blouse up to his naked chest. It was tiny. He chuckled thinking that whoever had inputted the task was setting him up for failure.

And then the PDA beeped. He looked down at the display.

Pragmatic obstacle preventing task fulfillment. Adjustment in progress.

Adjustment in progress? What did that mean? He looked up at the mirror again and his eyes went wide. The tiny shirt rippled for a second, then it began to grow. Well, not the entire thing. The sizeable chest shrank, while the shoulders stretched and the length grew. After a moment, the blouse was perfectly his size.

He hung it back up and grabbed another.

Again the PDA beeped.

Again the blouse adjusted to his size.

“Holy shit,” he breathed. This device was incredibly powerful. It not only made people behave in certain ways, but it could change the physical structure of things around him! How far could it go? What were its limits?!

Yoga. Shopping. He had a task to fulfill and it had been laid out for him by Steve. What Peter needed to do was get dressed, go shopping, then go to a yoga class. Peter eyed the abbreviated dresses and high heeled shoes. At least yoga meant he could wear sneakers and cover up a bit.

He grabbed a pair of pink yoga pants (beep) some sneakers (beep) and a tank top (beep). Then he left the closet and grabbed a pair of panties and a pair of socks from a drawer (beep), (beep). Soon enough he was clothed, wearing an outfit he never thought he’d see himself in, but seemed tailored for his body. He felt a little nervous about how his package was on full display through the yoga pants, but it was an improvement from walking around naked.

And so, dressed, Peter left the bedroom. He had a task to complete and a new life to live.
