Investigation and Invasion pt.3

I kept myself hidden as I could, tried to move throughout the ship carefully as possible. Wrapped in the Dark element as I saw the creatures seemed to be unable to see or sense me... I mean they were walking right past me, nearly through me at one point cause I almost didn't move in time. I wondered, could I continue summoning my elementals even in this state? I couldn't use my Dark summons since it was being used to shroud me from their senses, but what about the other elements? Wait... Didn't J'onzz say they were nocturnal?

I'd have to test that out later, for now I'd finally caught sight of the others being taken away. I followed carefully, I wasn't gonna take any chances with this if I could help it after all. On the way I sent out my summons to try and find whatever they could in the ship, coming across a room of people they were copying and replacing, but I'd have to help them out later. When I arrived to where the rest were being held captive I watched as one of these Invaders took the form of, was that Carter?! Within minutes I watched as J'onzz was attacked and started to be tortured, being pulled inside this new putrid looking creature. I overheard that it was called Imperium, and moments later saw as Batman reappeared and reversed the charge of the crystal.

"Why didn't you just say they were weak to sunlight?" I asked as I appeared while they were trying to get one another free. "If your sensitive to loud sounds, might wanna cover your ears." Bringing my fingers up to my lips as that warning to the others finished, I let out a loud whistle, using a new ability of my summoning power.

Summoner's Call, Activated. Temporarily transferring all summons limits to a single element. Each element currently has a 25 max limit, this means the total elementals summoned will be 150. Please designate an element to use.
There was this slight wave of wind that seemed to be launched from around my body, I saw the others look on in surprise as as a tremendous number of summons appeared. Turns out Light elementals can in fact radiate the same kind of energy from the sun these creatures are weak too. Dozens upon dozens of them appearing rapidly, until the first hundred slots were used at least. I used the last 50 to call forth a BIG summon. Turns out I had leveled up my summoning enough to call forth a new tier.

Legendary summoning activated. Warning this requires at least 25 slots, you are using 50. Stats of summon will be further increased.
Oh that's new! I watched as the big summons appeared between us and the Imperium creature. I watched a look of shock appear on Batman's face, the Legendary Light summon taking on the appearance of a towering Bipedal Crocodile with massive powerful arms and legs. It was like looking at an even bigger Killer Croc if he was made of light. I noticed him flinch again when it opened it's mouth and suddenly let loose a long breath of this Golden glowing flame! The attack barely missed Imperium as it flew up into it's ship to try and escape. My legendary summon leaping at it and hammering it's powerful limbs into the ship.

Meanwhile my smaller summons began to chase down these creatures, hunting and destroying them in droves. Lantern and Superman working to tear the walls down to let more light in. I called a Fox made of light to the group, "Follow this one! There's survivors that need help!" With that it lead the way as Superman and Flash followed it while the others joined the fight. Before long they returned, gathering up the survivors as Lantern used his ring to help shield them and the rest of us. Just in time as the factory came crashing down around us. I was treated to the sight of Hawkgirl and the Amazon trying to attack the massive ship Imperium was trying to escape too, my summon causing the ship to soon explode as my Legendary summon leaped up towards the much larger vessel.

With the help of Hawkgirl a hole was made that my summon leaped into, attacking the creatures inside while She and the Amazon returned back to our group. "So uh, how far away can that thing go with them?" I heard Flash ask me. "There's no limit I know of for how distant it can be, they'll either kill it or die to it." I explained to him, noticing a little nod from the Lantern at my words. Soon enough we all got to take a moment to enjoy the sight of the massive ship starting to explode with sunlight from the inside. "Requiem. Thank you for your help. I did not think that my message would reach you while I was trying to conceal Batman from the Invaders. Your mental defenses are impressive, whatever it is your doing to protect yourself, I cannot see through it. Were they not looking right at you, I doubt they would have ever noticed you." I heard from J'onzz. That was some useful info to file away, my defense's were making me invisible to creatures like that huh? Glad to hear it.

We ended up separating from there, I brought my Legendary Light summon to help bring down and wipe out several more factories while the others had their own missions to handle. By the time it was all done, Superman apparently talked to Batman about setting up something for a team of hero's to help combat situations like this or to deal with supervillains through out the world. When I was called back some time later it was to be brought onto the newly launched space station, called the Watchtower. I, along with most of the others were given a tour and asked to join Superman's new team, we would be called the Justice League. I accepted but explained I had a lot I was dealing with myself so I wouldn't be available all the time, I got offers to help in response and thanked them for it. Even said I'd let them know if I needed some help.

Had a moment where Flash was surprised to learn I was in Star City apparently. He hadn't seen me when he'd visited a friend of his. I explained I was doing my best to keep out of the spotlight, I didn't want to be focused on was how I explained it to him. Batman asked if I'd ever been in Gotham city before, saying that my Crocodile summons looked like an even more reptilian version of one of his rogues. "I have been though I haven't met any walking Croc's while I was there. I'm not in any hurry to get back to that cesspool of crime and corruption either." I explained, allowing a bit of anger to leak into my voice. From there I did my best to distance myself from the Bat, I had no intention of getting too friendly with the person that constantly saved and put the Joker behind bars rather than leaving the clown to die.

Anyways there wasn't a lot more to discuss at that time so I returned back to my city, even got a lift from Flash on my way back. From there I cloaked myself in shadows again, checking over myself to make sure there wasn't a tracker or anything like that on me. Low and behold one was found, removed and placed on an earth rat summons which I sent into the deepest depths of the sewers before allowing it to dispel and drop the tracker. It felt safe to assume that was Batman's doing, though when and how I'm not sure. Regardless I returned home, as carefully as possible of course. Arriving back the first thing I did was start checking my notifications and... oh...
