I finish the chapter I was writing before Lisa... distracted me, then take out my phone and check the app:

Yay, I am now level 4 and have 3 perk points available! Next level requires 40 xp, though, so I better get started. First is, of course, Lisa. I already have a good idea what I am going to make her do:

Again I intentionally do not specify any details, giving Lisa the freedom to decide the order in which she will complete the tasks. She could go from top to bottom, of course, but she could also do the first and last in her room, and then the second, or alternatively do the second, then go back to her room and do the other two. I'm curious what she will do...

I briefly pause as I read the second quest reward. I wonder how that is going to work...

Next I create Victoria's second quest:

And with that all of my current targets have their new quests, so there's nothing left to do but wait. If I am lucky Frank will finish his quest later today so I can give him a new one – his has a cooldown of eight hours.

“Alright, back to writing, me!” I tell myself as I put away my phone and resume writing.

I decide to do it in the morning, while Marie is still asleep, I just need to be quiet in order to not wake her up.

The rewards are also pretty good: 30 xp is one whole level, and the other one... well, I am not sure how this “bonus reward” is going to work, but I sure look forward to finding out.

I put on a yellow dress with a long skirt. I don't bother with any underwear – I will be stripping for my next quest anyway. Checking myself in the mirror I determine that my lack of underwear is not obvious, so unless Marie bothers to check she won't notice anything off.

“Awesome!” I hear Marie exclaim loudly. Curious, I leave my room and go check on her. “Everything alright, Marie?”

“Oh! Yes! Everything's alright! Great, even! Sorry about the noise!” My roommate seems embarrassed by her little outburst.

“Did something good happen?” I ask after giving her a few moments to calm down.

“I... yes, something did! I got an e-mail from one of the small publishing companies I contacted earlier! They want to meet me and talk about possibly publishing some of my stories!”

“Really? That's awesome!” I exclaim, happy for her. Looks like her hard work is finally paying off. “When is the meeting?”

“In two days, at 9:00 in the morning.” She then gives me a pleading look, doing her best puppy dog eyes impression.

“Yes, Marie, I will drive you there and back, don't worry.” I agree before she can ask properly.

“Thanks, Lisa! You're the best!” In her excitement Marie practically jumps out of her chair and hugs me tightly, giving me second thoughts about going without underwear. Hopefully she is too happy to notice. “I will definitely repay you for this!” She promises as she keeps hugging me. Her excitement is infectious and I smile as I hug her back.

Eventually Marie calms down enough to let me go. She gets back to her writing while I go back to my room and try to distract myself with a book or something.

I watch Lisa go back to her room, then try to get back to writing, but I just can't – I am too excited by this development. So instead I think about how to thank Lisa for agreeing to drive me there and back. Perhaps I can give her an easy quest, so that she can have some xp and rewards for practically free? After she finishes her current one, that is.

“Yes, that will do.” I nod to myself. Having finally calmed down I get back to writing – I still have a bit of time before dinner.
