What's next?
Waking up as Claire
After what felt like an eternity, though it was probably no more than a few fleeting seconds, I found myself alone again and no longer fully certain that this was a dream.
My sleepiness dispelled was replaced by a sense of incredulity.
I frowned at the clothing lying on my lap having been thrown my way by the girl earlier.
I wasn’t really looking at them, more so replaying the prior scene in my head again. I didn’t know the girl which made me wonder where I could have seen her before.
I noticed only now how some of my hair was obscuring my vision. It was a barely noticeable tint of blonde hardly hindering me from seeing but bothering me enough to pull it aside and behind my ear.
A motion that felt oddly familiar. I never had long hair so how would I know how it felt like or that I should put it behind my ear to no longer bother me?
A single lock remained tickling my nose. I blew it away thinking it to vanish but no luck there either, it just came back again making me even more confused.
It was strange for a dream to have so many details. Especially ones I had no way of knowing.
No longer in the mood to play with my puppies I pulled my bra up again only to notice that what I thought was a bra had been a white nightgown instead.
Both the thrown clothes and the remainder of my blanket obscured the lower part but I now noticed the short sleeves and felt the soft fabric shift against my skin as I tugged it back up.
Looking down I lost myself in the valley of my breasts for a moment. Those were some serious weapons this girl had but I was feeling ever more incredulous of this whole situation and decided to lay back down and wake up.
…
Seconds went by…
…
and I opened my eyes once again being greeted by the same unfamiliar ceiling.
…
Closing them harder than before I waited some more.
…
…
This time peeking only slightly with one eye as if that would help.
…
Not sure what made me think it would make a difference but seeing that ceiling for the third time in a row finally made me convinced that I was neither dreaming nor hallucinating.
