Entering the world, Joseph was brought before a world full of beastmen, humans with minimal animal characteristics such as ears and tails while also possessing superior traits thanks to the mix of biologies like stronger muscles or heightened senses. He was then given a detailed history of the world before he was dropped into his destination:

Catnya is a land without racial tensions and a heavily diverse population based on different animals beastmen have. They are all attractive but have grown up using non-animal human designs as a basis for their media, teachings, and other topics, hiding and disguising these traits. Because of this, seeing a normal human would be like having the hottest man walk through the slums, regardless of his social status or wealth, they want to be all over them. But this doesn't change the fact that they love their bodies which are all at least at an Olympic athlete's levels of endurance, speed, strength, focus, etc. Rarely are more animalistic humanoids seen as modern generations are leaning to more human aesthetics, but that isn't to say that remote communities and older families haven't kept to traditional anthro/furry forms.

Hearing this introduction to the world, Joseph was intrigued but worried, he knew that if they wanted they could treat him like prey.
