Chapter 4
by Flammenwerfer
Which character stood there?
LAR Grizzly Mk.V
Now, its one thing to see a hot girl with a gun on a screen, be it a movie or a video game or whatnot. To be confronted in person with a someone armed with a deadly weapon, however, would normally elicit the rational reaction of fear and tension - no matter how attractive they are. The sheer absurdity of what had transpired within a minute or so - blue screen crash, the light and smoke show, and seeing said light and smoke show coalesce into a fictional person - may be a major factor as to why I didn't run at the sight of a hot woman with a gun in her hand. Also helped that the muzzle was pointed away from my person or that the person holding the gun looked mighty chipper to see me.
Oh right, the person. Right. A person that, just before now, I only knew as a well drawn 2D character that was one of many in a gacha game I play. A fictional person, someone that technically doesn't exist outside of media or cosplays.
There was a moment of silence between us before the girl - known in Girls Frontline as Grizzly MkV, the titular pistol chambered in .50 caliber in her hands - stood up from her low position and slotted her namesake weapon into her strapped right thigh holster. Her coat, stylized after stereotypical super cops from the 70s or 80s, fluttered behind her in a dramatic fashion; an oddity given my window was closed and covered by thin curtains. Her chipper smile broke into a grin as she giggled at my stunned silence.
"Would recommend you close that trap of yours, commander," Grizzly said in plain English, her voice reminding me of an older sister (which she kinda has in game if I recall her Japanese voicelines). "Otherwise you'll catch yourself a housefly."
"U-Uh, right," still processing this, I sat down on the nearest comfortable surface, that being my bed. "Right. Uh."
"Oh c'mon," Grizzly laid a hand on her hip - and fuck me those jean shorts are riding low and what the fuck are with that leotard thingy - as she leaned on right leg. Her jovial face morphed into an amused raised eyebrow and a subtle grin. "Get yourself together commander, you're a big grown man with a working brain."
"Well, its not everyday that, uh, something like this happens, you know," I rebutted as I looked around for anything to tell me this isn't real. A few smacks on the face and even pinching only gave me pain. "Ow."
"Oh don't be like that, commander," Grizzly walked up to me and pried my right arm from my face, ending a pinch that had gripped my cheek. "Sure this is sorta out of the ordinary but try to keep a calm and level head, yeah?"
I didn't answer but I scratched the back of head with now freed right hand, my gaze off to the side. Given that she was addressing me and had interacted with my arm, this was all very real. How this came to be, I don't even know... unless. My eyes focus on the weird rock I collected on my way home, perched on desk next to my computer - which had long completed diagnostics and reboot - and thought about circumstances leading up to this moment.
"Got the two put together?" Grizzly looked over to the rock. "Did say you got a working brain there, unless?"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah," I roll my eyes, though I was hardly annoyed. Perks of at least know how to socially interact with people. "Hard to believe that rock could be the reason all of this is happening."
"Well, it is the reason that I'm here, commander," Grizzly walked over to my comfy swivel chair and sat down, spinning it around. As she slowed down in a direction facing me, she continued. "I'm not exactly a walking instruction sheet for it, but I can explain a few things about all of this."
"Just... how?" I asked.
"Hah, now that's something I can't even answer. Maybe if I scientist, sure, but..." Grizzly shot me a knowing look as she made hand motions towards herself. "Just know that little rock imparted something to you, a gift if you want to call it that."
"So, like a superpower. Except it came from a glowing rock I found on the side of the road home." I let out a chuckle that grew into a laugh. Man, of all days, I wouldn't think today would turn out like some weird cape comic.
"Yep. The gist is that you can create any fictional, and I do mean fictional, characters," the girl across me crossed her legs and leaned back into the chair. "Any number of them, at any time, anywhere. So as long you think of them and have a desire, then your powers will make them real."
"And you? I wasn't even thinking anything specific about someone, just annoyed at the emulator crash."
"Consider it a convenient freebie, commander. Wouldn't want to discover this stuff while with friends."
I wince. Yeah, maybe it was convenient that no one was here but me. A blessing in disguise as as they say. "And you're all very self-aware about this situation. This going to be same with every other person I, uh, conjure up?"
"More or less. Again, makes things easier, cause that means we don't have to deal with all of those complications," Grizzly shoots me a smile. "Same with personalities and memories. Though, if you think of it, you can make me into a literal sex robot complete with a flat voice and all."
"Yeah well no," I shook my head. "Wait, okay, sex robot? I know you're a combat android but-"
"Think this was just for show, eh commander?" Grizzly's face shifted into something more devious as she presented with her hands her sizeable chest, the curves laid bare by the open cuts on her leotard, and the thighs and assuredly shapely rear. I felt blood rush to my face as I stared mesmerized before I slapped some sense into myself.
"Fucking hell, don't tell me that wombforce meme is fucking real then," its a funny meme but if it really existed-
"Hahaha... nah, it doesn't but you can make it so," Grizzly crossed her arms under her chest, accentuating the size and shape.
"When we get to that," I muttered. "So you're really a gynoid and not just some... weird flesh golem? Sorry, no offense."
"None taken, commander. And yep, I'm a T-Doll with all the bells and whistles you'd expect I would have. If need something dealt with, consider me a prime pick," in a swift motion, the android woman swiftly drew her namesake handgun and twirled it would with dexterity and grace I could only dream of. "Not many things can survive a few rounds of what I got packed in this pretty piece."
"Uhuh... self-aware, full memories and personalities, you're rather subservient to me... shit, this all feels unreal. Or like a smut fic made real."
"Welllllll commander, it doesn't have to be that way. You could just take it as it is, maybe experiment a bit more," Grizzly stood up from the chair and walked up to me, her grin more seductive than playful, "get to know things better. Just remember to take it slow, unless you're not that type of person."
"I-er, uh," I stammered as the robot cop loomed over me. I could feel my member stiffen but I wasn't sure if I was ready for any of this. All too sudden, all too fast. I looked around and well away from Grizzly's well proportioned and sculpted body, **** to find a way to defuse the situation. Some part of me was excited but another part me would like to actually do experiments and not... well that.
A few moments pass before my eyes land on...
What catches the protagonist's eyes?
