Girls Frontline

Correction, it was the emulator on my computer that caused the whole thing to crash.

Now, I get that some people might raise an eyebrow at someone running an Android emulator on their computer, when they have a perfectly serviceable phone on them for their mobile games. However, these people aren't aware of how massive some of the popular mobile gacha games can get and when you download more than one, it really adds up with all the gigabytes those games need. The Hoyoverse games, Punishing Grey Raven, Arknights, etc. So in the interest of having more than just three gigabytes of remaining space on my phone (and lots of those space was taken up by pictures, memes, and videos anyway), I have most of the heavy weight mobile games running on an emulator.

Perks of using an emulator include having access to a mouse and keyboard, ability to alt-tab to other windows while the emulator runs in the background, and the significant hardware advantages that PC has over mobile devices. Of course, that didn't stop stuff like bugs, glitches, and crashes or general weirdness that crops up with mobile emulators. Still, its weird that the emulator could cause the OS to crash; or maybe not, might look to see if anyone else has suffered a similar issue. Though this may lead to a case of human error or something fundamental to the computer and not the software.

Annoyed and perplexed, I let my computer reboot and run diagnostics as I stood up to get something to calm me down - tea, candy, anything really. I've been a bit behind on the grind in Girls Frontline and while I try my best to keep up with the news and stuff, life sometimes get in the way. Not that I've been slacking off on leveling my T-Dolls, rolling, and all that but I was looking forward for the general rate-up event. I still had some characters I don't have yet, despite numerous rolls of both typical and voodoo recipes...

Before I could take another step, something interrupted my thoughts and I saw wisps of smoke and light emit from my body.

"What the fuck?" I said as I patted myself down in a frenzy. I didn't smell anything weird and my body felt fine, but the whole smoke and light show was freaking me out bad. I was about ready to run out of house and call for my neighbors when the light and smoke wafted out of me and coalesced into an orb in my room. I stood there, transfixed, as the orb morphed and shaped itself. Its silhouette arrived into a very feminine form and as the visuals faded, I almost let my jaw drop at who stood there.
