Jessica (In the Kitchen)

Of course the waitress would start in the kitchen. Let's give the folks at home a quick break down of the room.

The kitchen is a large, wide open room on the first floor. There are visible exits to The Back Lawn, The Main Hall, and The Pantry. There are also two secret doors leading to The Wine Cellar and The Crawlspace.

The kitchen is full of help and hinderance in equal measure.

Help:

• There are three "knife" tokens hidden about the room. A contestant may spend one of their knife tokens to instantly remove a rope or tape binding at any time.

• Successful completion of the kitchen puzzle will release The Waitstaff: Three lovely assistants who will battle on behalf of contestant, turning this match into a 4 v 1... at least on the first floor. The Waitstaff will diligently make their rounds about the first floor. If they find the opposing contestant, they will call out and attack. The Waitstaff are immune to The Manor's traps, but can be subdued by crafty players.

Hinderance:

• Greedy cabinets throughout the kitchen will be more than happy to snag a contestant's clothing, potentially damaging and removing it.

• The obnoxious oven will grab hold of an unwary player who opens it without first disarming the trap. The unfortunate player will find their head, arms, and upper torso locked away, leaving them in a particularly **** position, bent over and helpless until they can undo the mechanism and escape.

• Beware the oven mitts, there's a pair of leather mittens hidden inside just waiting to attach to an unwary cook.

• The Waitstaff will be ill pleased if a contestant fails their attempt at the kitchen puzzle. The unfortunate player will be stripped of their normal attire and forcible placed in gear more appropriate of their would-be chef's skills.

Jessica is lead into her starting position by the helpful Manor staff. Once in place, her blindfold is removed, and the buzzer sounds, indicating the start of the match. The lovely brunette looks about her new environment. An impeccably clean kitchen complete with marble countertops and well polished brass adorning dozens of cabinets. An extravagant refrigerator matched only by equally extravagant cooking appliances and prep sinks adorn the space. Her brown eyes flit about the room, searching for any advantage, and every danger. She spots a recipe laying on the counter beside her.

Warily, Jess considers her first move...
