Chatting with Anna

When Jessica woke up she found her mind flooded with memories from the perspective of the old Jessica. Her major, job, family, habits, and relationships. She was pretty surprised by what she saw, but thankfully the old Jessica wasn’t in a relationship she’d have to deal with before making things official with Anna.

Jessica got ready for the day, following the morning routine in her new memories. She took a quick shower, avoiding the temptation her new body still presented. After drying her hair, brushing her teeth, and taking care of other personal hygiene items she returned to her room to get dressed. She picked out the first outfit she tried on the previous night, sans jacket. Following her new memories, she applied a bit of makeup.

Jessica left her room and went to the kitchen, finding Anna already at the table eating some breakfast.

“Good morning, Jessica. Have fun last night?” Anna asked in a somewhat sassy tone.

“A little bit. I followed your advice and got a little familiar with new body.”

“I think it was more than a little. We could hear you, lucky for you Kate and Tiff weren’t home.”

“To be fair, I didn’t know we had other roommates at that point. I only got the old Jessica’s memories this morning.”

Anna looked at Jessica with look of surprise, “Wait, really? I thought the spell I used would have given you her memories immediately. Then again, ‘Jake’ was acting a bit spacey last night too…”

“Was the first time you ever cast those spells?”

Anna nodded, “I haven’t a reason to before. I thought I understood the descriptions but… I’m sorry. I was so excited I didn’t really think things through.”

Jessica squeezed Anna’s hand, “You don’t have to be sorry, Anna. I rushed into this just as much as you did. I trusted you completely and I still do.”

“Jess… You’re so amazing.”

“So are you. Although, I do have some questions to run by you. If you don’t mind.”

“Yea, no problem. What’s in your mind?”

“First off: What kind of things did you like about Jessica? I want to know what kinds of habits I should keep up.”

“Well, I liked the way she dressed, which it seems like you’ve got down. It might also sound weird, but I liked how she wasn’t afraid to show herself off. But don’t get things twisted and go cheat on me.”

“I wouldn’t dream of it. I want to try and be your dream girl after all. Speaking of which, anything you want me to take up?”

“Nothing comes to mind right now, but I’ll keep in mind that you’re open to suggestions. Knowing you you’ve already come up with some sexy ideas.”

“A few. Although, I’ll have to come up with so non-sexy ones too. Did you know Jessica got fired from her job?”

“Wait, seriously? How long ago?”

“A few days. It wasn’t pretty either, so I’m gonna have a tough time getting another.”

“That bitch! She never mentioned anything! You think that’s come up, seeing as we have rent soon.”

“I get the feeling that’s part of the reason her dad cut her off.”

“Her dad?”

“You didn’t know? Her dad’s loaded. He’s paying for her college, but only as long as she pays for her other expenses. He was trying to to teach her responsibility, I’d guess.”

“Honestly, I’d cut her a bit more slack for being so pissed if I’d known that. Not completely, but I’d give her a little. Guess we’ve got to find you a new job then, we can’t have fun if you get kicked out ‘cause you can’t pay rent. Any ideas?”

“Actually, I do have something in mind. I think you’re gonna like it.”
