Yulia wanted to simply leave, face the desert, but as she thought that she felt stinging pain on her body, it was still badly sunburned. With the suit fixed she'd likely still be fine, but she really needed a rest. The voices seemed mildly torn between just heading north back towards the camp or offering a duel. The decision seemed to narrowly come down in favour of the duel.

Yulia sighs internally and faces the two scorpions, "I have an offer. I duel your bodyguard here, one on one, if I win you let me rest here unharmed, if I lose you get... the suit and... me..." Yulia says, hoping the voices are right.

The Scorpions glance at each other and seem to be thinking it over.

"If you just want a fight, why wouldn't we just all attack you at once?" one of the scorpions asks.

"Yeah, what's in it for us letting you have a more even chance?" the other adds.

"If you lose the duel there should be an extra penalty..." The first scorpion suggests.

"Ooh I know, if you want to duel, you lose, we get your suit, I get to lay my eggs in you and we bring you back to our nest for anyone else who wants a go," the second scorpion suggests.

"Ooh Cathy, that's a great idea!" the first scorpion says excitedly.

"If we bring back a new breeding hole for the nest, we'll be rewarded," the second, Cathy apparently states excitedly.

The Tarantula glances at Yulia and then at the wasp who is simply watching Yulia, clearly ready at any moment to fight and she glances back at Yulia and shakes her head warningly.

Yulia looks at her then at the Wasp and specifically the wicked blade on the end of her spear.

"Well, girl? What do you say to our amended offer?" the first scorpion asks and she's sat up now, clearly excited out of her relaxed pose.

"Do we still want to take this duel?" Yulia asks quietly, her own thoughts on the matter, clearly being a no.
