Investigate

Ethan decides to man up and investigate.

He shakes his head. Homonculues aren't real either.

Easing Alex away from him, he tosses off the blanket.

"Et-Ethan..." her eyes are wide, "What are you doing?!"

"I'm going to check it out." He stands up.

"Naked?!"

Ethan looks down. "Uh... I guess?"

Alex puckers her lips. "Just... Don't go to far, okay!? If you see a ghost... Just... Just run back!"

"Kay..." Ethan makes for the door, opening it and then stepping out into the hall.

It's dark, still, but not too bad. Looking around, he listens closely, trying to hear the noise again. After a moment, he hears another faint bang.

Moving down the hall, he makes his way towards the source of the sound.
