The bus groaned and swayed, rousing Ethan from his rest.
'Dirt road', he thought, rubbing his eyes. 'Must be close now...'
Ethan had made the trip dozens of times, and knew full well this marked the last leg of it. Sitting up, he looked around the once crowded bus to see he was all that was left, minus the driver of course whom he expected wasn't too pleased to be this far from what most would consider civilization. As a child he had never really considered just isolated some of these country towns were, and his destination might well be one of the most remote.
Sighing, Ethan stared out the window, retaking in the sights for the first time in...
"Years..." he mutters.
The urge to reminisce is overwhelming...
