Mara walked over to a man and a woman who were looking nervous. "Hey, have you two been here long?" She asked.

"About a day," the man said, trying to put on a smile. "Michelle found us and brought us here where she said we'd be safe. I'm not so sure."

"Don't worry about Henry, he's just a little jumpy," his wife said with a smile. "He's afraid that all of us here will attract demons."

"Jess, we've got a lot of people here, they'd eat us up like a buffet," Hank said with a shake of his head. "We should get out of here as soon as we can."

"Don't worry love," Jess said, gently kissing him on the lips. "Remember what Michelle said? Demons can't set foot on holy ground, they're not going to get at us in here as long as she's here, don't worry."

Or as long as you don't invite them in, Mara thought, hiding a smile. "That's good," she said, but she was imagining what these two would look like as demons. Her eyes fell on Jess' fairly small chest, imagining them turning into perfect demonic orbs bursting out of her clothes.

"Well, I'm glad more humans have escaped the demons," Henry said. "So what's your name?"

"Mara," Mara said, as a plan was starting to form in her head.
