A full week of rewards

A full week of quests had earned her a lot of AD to use for the app, and it gave her some XP points which helped up her level, just like in an RPG game. She was never an avid fan of RPG games herself, but she was introduced to some good picks on the PS4 and PS5 through her IDF friends whenever they had a get-together.

With both daily and weekly quests done, she regained much of the AD she previously spent on that national perk and now had enough to spend on one or two more. Each level-up earned her three stat points to spend, and she focused on Intellect, Charisma and Luck due to her commitments as a president. As a soldier, she preferred it if she could increase her strength and agility instead, especially with how many punks accosted her on the streets each time she walked them, both to escape her work and to complete her quests.

Her app pinged, and she opened it to reveal that she had attained not one, but three achievements.

_Cut the Head off the Snake:_ You killed Augustine Tomas, ringleader of all the Warlord activity in Liberia. Without him, all his lackeys were easy prey. (Earned 500 AD)

_Warlord Cleansing:_ The Warlord menace of Liberia was purged for good, no survivors left to continue their misbegotten legacy. (Earned 650 AD)

_The People's Elect:_ By popular will and the results you have obtained for the people's benefit, the people have named you their president in record time! Let no one stand in the way of progress and prosperity! (Earned 1,500 AD)

A wry smile formed on her face as she read the details; why is it that only at certain times the App chooses to give her rewards instead of giving them on the spot, once she fulfilled the prerequisites.

"Maybe it just chooses when to give me those rewards or not," Aviel muttered to herself.

With the glut in AD, she decided to go all-out in investing them in useful perks for both herself and Liberia.

Captain of Business - As a business conglomerate, you can easily make millions by commandeering slick, profitable and sustainable businesses staffed by competent, talented, loyal and wholesome staff. (Cost: 500AD)
