a portal

I stop on a tree limb as I start to hear a weird buzzing noise. I hide on the limb as I look around for the source. at first, I see nothing till I see a glowing circle appear on the ground. it was only around for a few seconds, but it soon disappeared.

I look at where the portal was only to see it reappear a few feet away from its last location. I can't see what is on the other side so a make my way down the tree. as I do I catch the circle appear and disappear at random intervals. by the time I reach the bottom of the tree it is pretty close to the tree.

Now that I am on the ground I Can see through it. inside of it appears to be a small forest the trees look different than the ones in the area and the ground is not swampy. "Is that a gate way or something," I ask out loud.

I wait for it to disappear and then reappear before I get closer to it and examine it. "I don't see any seals on it," I mutter on my breath as I take a close look at it. as i do my fingers brush against it. my eyes widen as the get stuck in place and start to pull me in. it caught me off guard and I could not get the right footing to stop myself from being pulled in.
