Nice and Bossy

Circe turned back towards the unseen camera as she kept talking. "Our first contestant is a lovely young woman who works at a café not too far from our dear master's own workplace. But while he sees her often and he was sent there a couple of times, he sadly didn't interact with her much in the past, an all too common theme with the contestants this season I'm afraid. I present you... Catherine Baker!"

A spotlight lit up as Circe announced the contestant's name, illuminating the first of the six chairs, where a clearly confused woman was now seated. From the looks of it, it was either her day off or it was after her shift. Her blond hair was down, hanging to her waist, and she was wearing a red sweater and a pair of loose jeans rather than her work uniform.

Marcus blinked. He hadn't seen her enter the room, but he would swear that the chair was empty a moment ago. It might have been some kind of sleight of hand, but he wouldn't be able to tell how they pulled it off, which made him a little more comfortable as he found himself hoping the show would be the real deal.

Meanwhile, Catherine turned towards Circe. "Hum, hello? What's going on?"

Circe simply kept smiling as she replied. "Hello dear. To answer your question, you have been selected as a contestant for our tv show. Now, I'm sure you have some more questions, but I have the rest of the contestants to introduce, and I'd rather not have to explain everything more than once, so I hope you won't mind having to wait a few minutes?"

"Oh. Alright." Catherine said with a nod, before slightly adjusting her outfit as she looked around.

Circe gave Catherine a small nod before she went on. "Thank you. Now, our second contestant works at the same corporation as our dear Marcus here, though she is quite higher in the hierarchy. In fact, she is well on her way to inherit it someday. And while our Master rarely sees her from his position at the bottom of the corporate ladder, she obviously made an impression. Here she is... Bethany Hawthorne!"

At the name, a spot lit up the next chair, on Catherine's left, revealing another woman. She had black hair, and she was dressed in a white office blouse and a black pencil skirt going down to her knees, and wearing a pair of black heels. As she was revealed, she quickly focused her attention on Circe, frowning slightly as she pushed her glasses up.

Circe took the opportunity to address the new woman. "Hello, Miss Hawthorne, and welcome to our show." Bethany raised an eyebrow at that, but Circe went on before she could speak. "Now, before you ask anything, I still have a few contestants to introduce, but I'll be happy to explain and answer your eventual questions afterwards."

Bethany glared at the still-smiling Circe for a couple seconds before sighing. "Very well."

"Wonderful!" Circe exclaimed with a clap as Bethany took note of the other persons in the room.
