You barely stammer out your first question as you drink in Arowyn's beauty. "How.. what... Uhm..."

Arowyn giggles as your boss replies. "Slow down Jack. Take a breather. Why don't you tell him why you're here, and why you love being sponsored by me, hon."

It seems like a reasonable first question and breaks the ice. You eat a bit of your dinner while Arowyn relates her story. "Well, believe me or not, I was a princess in the old world. Everything was arranged for me, even my marriage. I couldn't stand the fact that I'd have to get married to someone who I didn't even know or love, but for a political convenience. I had a few connections that specialized in quiet transportation - being a princess has it's perks you know. So with their help I made it to the portal to your world and stepped through. The AWIO folks were nice enough, but were initially concerned that I might not find a sponsor, being a princess and all. But sure enough, your boss here was a match." She drapes an arm around him. "Us monster girls have a very fast bonding process to the man we choose to be our lover because men are very rare in our world. He treats me both well and like an equal, and doesn't have any expectations for me to act diplomatic or like I would as a princess. So you can believe me when I say I'm telling you the truth."

After listening to Arowyn's story, it answers several of your questions. "So do you regret coming here, and how do you feel about both being here and being sponsored?" You ask.

"No regrets at all." Arowyn answers instantly. "I'm glad he sponsored me and I'm really happy to be here and be a part of his life. Ask any monster girl, they'll say the same thing. AWIO makes sure of a match with regular check ins and sees how the bonding process is coming along."

"You see, Jack? Over half our office are sponsors for a reason. We all love our girls, and some even share with their spouse. AWIO will tell you this, but most prefer being in a harem of more than one monster girl. I haven't decided to sponsor anyone else yet, but that's not for lack of Arowyn's insistence."

Arowyn nudges your boss, "Hey, I saw you eyeing that cutie goblin short stack last time we were at AWIO. You should totally sponsor her before John does! And, you know you work for the Department of Redundancy Department. Where anything worth doing is worth doing twice!"

Your boss laughs as you finish up dinner. "See what I mean?"

"It's getting late my love, and unless you plan on having Jack over for dessert, he'd best be going. All this talk about that goblin makes me.... Well, you know." Arowyn replies.

"Indeed I do, my dear. Did you need an Uber or are you okay to drive?" Your boss asks. Always the considerate one, he is.

You look at your nearly finished wine glass and decide you'll be okay as it wasn't that big of a pour. "I think I'll be okay. Thanks for the dinner and chat, you've given me a lot to think about."
