Such A Tease

So Rachel is the first to reach out, because she's the one who can without looking like a creep and because Rachel immediately puts it all together and realizes there is an opportunity here. And sultry as a sly little minx she practically slides over to him, a smile on her lips and a sway in her hips as she delicately holds her towel to her supple form with one hand while her other hand delicately extends towards him in preparation for a handshake.

"Lucas," she smiles, "The Landlord. Emily has told me so much about you."

Nothing we've done is wrong, not exactly. Not breaking any rules and not really violating any principles. We haven't broken the law, any law either god or man, but you can hardly say what we've done is right either, exactly.

That's kind of the appeal of it, isn't it? For Lucas and for me? It's kind of wrong, what the two of us are doing. A little bit taboo and a whole lot of naughty and if we'd gone all the way it would have been better but as it is, it's bittersweet and acrid delicious.

It's bad. And we want to be bad.

But Lucas is having a harder time of it than me, clearly. That's a little surprising, maybe, because on top of him being my dad's old friend he's also a man and as a former man myself I should find that added level of difficulty something incredibly hard to get over and if I cast my mind to it or think too hard about it maybe I do, but then again maybe I don't.

Still Lucas is having a far harder time of it than me. I'm sure he can't stop looking at me and seeing me as a girl young enough to quite literally be his daughter. And being the daughter of an old friend and being from his old town and being all the things he thought he left behind, well when I call him Daddy it must just be the most confusingly hot thing he's ever fucking experienced.

So my point is that Rachel's words there are loaded and my point then is that she knows it too. She picks them on purpose to get a rise out of him and to confirm her suspicions. Too bad for her then that Lucas is a pro, showing only a moment of momentary panic before slipping into the kind of casual self confidence that he has in spades.

"Too bad that you have me at a loss, then," he replies, stepping up and taking her hand in a firm but gentle shake, "And you really do seem like someone I'd want to know."

Rachel cocks her head, "Why's that?"

"You seem charming," he shoots back quickly, "In all the best kind of ways."

When Rachel laughs then it almost sounds unnatural, like she's putting it on a little. High and light and tinkling, like someone dusting their fingers along the high notes of a piano and descending a little too quickly.

"Well you're clearly quite a charmer yourself," Rachel replies, "Which just makes me think you're dangerous."

"Why is that?" Lucas asks.

Rachel gently takes her hand back and steps back and I slide sideways along the wall, pushing off just enough that I can kind of step in and see them in profile. She is biting her lip and shifting her weight from side to side as if she's contemplating things, as if she's sizing him up.

And Lucas is sizing her up as well. Doing his best to be a gentleman about it but clearly checking her out as his eyes run up her body and back down slowly. As he takes in every inch of her and takes in the image that she presents.

Scrubbed clean. Fresh faced. Flush and eager and squirming with delight. Young and nubile and soft and supple.

"Well," Rachel replies slowly, picking her words carefully, "I've never known a man to be charming without a purpose. So I've got to wonder where your goal is, Mister Lucas the Landlord. What exactly do you want out of me? What exactly do you want out of her?"
