22. She makes her way around

Softly, Malene makes her way to the exit on the other side. No one enters the space while she traverses it, so she remains hidden.

On the other side, she presses her ear to the door to hear if there’s anyone in the entry hall. Just beyond this door is the main entry to the mage’s dungeon. It wasn’t unlikely that there’d be people entering.
