Malene 9. Invisible Stalker 10. Hag 15. Hag 17. Hag 7.

The hag has her claws out, ready to strike. [9 vs 17]. Malene dodges the first woman, but another seems to materialize next to her. [5 (critical failure) vs 18]. The second creature trips and falls trying to grab Malene, sprawling across the mosses of the forest floor.

The wind picks up again and Malene feels her old enemy try to slam her again [14 vs 20] She holds her breath and bodies the blow.

Based on their previous encounter, Malene knows the women need to be taken out first. She drives her sword down on the hag at her feet [17 vs 6. Block: 18. Damage reduction: 5. Damage: 1] It’s a glancing blow off the hard hide of the woman, but it’s still something.

The last of the sisters jumps out of the forest and grabs at Malene. [8 vs 10] Malene is aware of their tactics now and dodges the third sister as well.

As she steps back, the first hag swipes again. [23 vs 23] Malene dips and the woman’s hand goes just past her breast. The second sister clambors to her feet and attacks the elf [13 vs 9. Block: 8. Damage: 12]

The cut is shallow, but it goes right across Malene’s neck. She grasps at her now gushing wound and turns on the second woman. She stumbles and the wind picks up, trying to slam her to the ground. [8 vs 23] The wind creature is weak though and Malene stays standing.

The elf knows now is the time to run. With four attackers, she really has ****. [-1 stamina, Malene: 26 (natural 20). Invisible Stalker: 16. Hags: 4, 8, 7]

Stumbling and clutching her neck, Malene is able to run into the woods. She has no idea what direction she’s going in, but she knows she needs to get away. The wind creature is clearly stalking her and the hags seem to be in on it.
