He's behind the bar.

Time for the moment she'd been waiting for. Anna glanced around for her step-brother before noticing him behind the bar. Anna took a breath to compose herself before approaching.

"Hey honey, get trapped in the storm? What can I get you?" Gideon's eyes moved from Anna's face to her breasts then back to her face, before suddenly, "Woah, wait Anna, is that you?"

"Hi Gideon, long time no see."

"You bet. Damn girl you've grown up! What brings you to Deepcleft so late?"

"You haven't heard?" Anna tried to keep the frustration out of her voice. News did travel slowly from the outer towns to the city, but not that slowly. "The orc clan destroyed the village Gideon."

"Oh, oh shit. Sorry I hadn't heard. So wait where are you..." He trailed off, finally understanding the situation. "Come with me, I'll set up a room for you. Harvey watch the bar for a sec will ya?"

Gideon took her upstairs. It was more cold and damp than the tavern proper. He pulled a ring of keys off his belt and handed her a key. "Here, get some rest, lets discuss more in the morning."

"Sure, thanks so much Gideon, you are a life saver. Literally."
