Felicity watches the waitress walk towards the kitchens, as soon as she vanishes through the doors, she returns her gaze towards him. He’s relaxing back in his chair, clearly enjoying Felicity’s shock. Even after last night and all that has happened since, the ease with which he has surprised her once more makes her realise she has only just begun discovering just how far he could push her if she was willing.
“How did you know she wouldn’t be offended by what you just suggested?” she finally asks him the question that has been running around in her head.
“Oh I have a knack, I can usually spot the girls who want to be a little more adventurous in their lives” he tells her. Before she can reply he slowly adds “Like I found you young lady."
“So, do I really get to say yes or no?” It wouldn’t be the first time he has given her the choice to decide if she wants to do something or not, although last night when she said no to him the first time she regretted it fairly soon afterwards.
“You always get the choice Flis, we’ll never do anything you don’t want to do. But deep down, you know you want to experiment, to push yourself, and that’s what I have planned for you, to see how far we can take you.” She sits taking in his answer to her question, and knows deep down it’s true, that she is eager to try everything she can, to experience things that would shock her parents, even her friends, if they were to ever find out, things that until now she thought would just remain her secret fantasies she has late at night, never to really be fulfilled.
She glances once more across the restaurant, spotting that the waitress has returned from the kitchen and is right now standing by the far wall, looking right back at her with a friendly smile on her face.
“Ok” Flis says, knowing that one word is all that he needs, the consent to push her further, but she is unsure quite where that might be this time.
