The waitress returns

Felicity places her knife and fork down on her now empty plate, smiling as she looks up at him.

“Wow, that was delicious, thanks for bringing me here” she informs him.

“The pleasure is all mine Flis. I just hope you aren’t too full, as I still have plans for you” he tells her as he looks back towards her.

“I hope so” she replies quickly, impressing herself that she has managed to reply and not get tongue tied as she imagines just what those plans might be.

“All done then?” a cheerful voice interrupts Felicity’s thoughts and she glances up to see the same waitress beside the table. “Do you want the desert menu, or are you going to take your desert to go?” she asks with a little wink towards Felicity, making it very clear that by desert to go she means his young dining companion. He chuckles at the waitress’ cheeky comment, watching as she gathers up their empty plates. Just as she is about to carry them away he reaches a hand out and places it on her waist.

“Well, how would you like to share my desert?” he asks as she turns back towards him, “I think there will be plenty to go around.”

Felicity can only stare in shock at what he seems to be suggesting, and it’s clear from the look on the waitress’ face that she too is a little surprised by it. But it’s the waitress who seems to recover the quickest out of the two girls as she glances back to Felicity with a look that suggests she isn’t disgusted by his proposition.

“I must say, your desert does look rather tasty, I could be tempted” she tells him whilst looking directly at Felicity, “as long as you don’t mind being shared?”

There’s a moments silence, the waitress and him seemingly waiting for Felicity to respond, whilst Felicity is too stunned to speak. It’s broken by the waitress speaking once more “I’ll clear this away why you have a think” she tells Felicity, giving her a friendly smile as she finally picks up the plates and spins on her heels to head back to the kitchen.
