The Journey Continues

Words from Author: AAAND we are back with Green and Helena. The plan for the POV shifts was to have 5-6 Red chapters => 5-6 Amber chapters => 5-6 Blue chapters and a surprise POV shift before returning to Green's POV.
Why in that order? Well, that's the order in which they entered Viridian Forest.

And why are we back to Green then when there were more POV shifts planned? Yeah, I went off the rails and had Red and Amber meet a bit earlier than planned, and went from the initially planned 5-6 chapters to 10-11 :D

You and Helena enjoy your breakfast, feeding the Pokemon and talking about what to do next. "So, should we risk going on the path again, or should we stay off the road?" Helena asks in between bites.

You mull over the question, trying to decide which option is the safest. You're not sure if you want to run the risk of encountering male trainers, but you know staying off the road will take longer. Unsure of the best course of action, you shrug.

Helena suggests, "How about we just travel along the edge of the route, keeping close to the woods, so we can easily hide?" You nod, thinking that it's a good idea.

Once everyone has finished their breakfast, you return your respective Pokemon to their Pokeballs before you and Helena put out the fire and start packing up before heading out, following the edge of the road.

The day is warm and sunny, with a gentle breeze blowing through the trees. You and Helena chat about random things as you walk, enjoying the fresh air and scenery.

After a while, the trees start to become denser, and you can barely see the road anymore. The two of you continue to walk through the forest, making sure to keep a safe distance from the road. Suddenly, a loud noise comes from the bushes nearby. You and Helena freeze, and a flock of Pidgey flies out of the trees, startled by the noise. The two of you look around, trying to determine what caused the noise. There doesn't seem to be anything around, but you can't help but feel nervous.

The rustling sounds stop, and everything is silent. You and Helena stand still, waiting for any signs of danger. Nothing happens, and the two of you slowly resume your walk. You're not sure if you are being paranoid, or if someone is actually watching you, but you feel uneasy.

The two of you continue to walk, keeping an eye out for anything suspicious. After a few minutes, the rustling starts again, and it seems to be getting closer. The sound is almost right behind you. You and Helena turn around, only to see a Heracross and a Pinsir dashing right past you, and it only takes a few seconds before the two Bug-types begin fighting each other.

Unsure of what to do, the two of you exchange glances. You don't want to interfere with the battle, but catching a wild Heracross or/and Pinsir could be beneficial.

You both watch in awe as the fight continues. Neither Pokemon seems to be gaining the upper hand, but neither seems willing to back down. Eventually, the fight reaches a stalemate, and the two Pokemon stop attacking.

The Heracross stares at you for a moment before flying away, and the Pinsir follows suit, flying in the other direction. You and Helena look at each other, wondering what to do. Do you chase after them, and if so, which one? Or do you just ignore them and continue on your way?
