Dragging Me Into The Light

Once I was ready she had my hand in hers and she was dragging me out of the place, pulling me out of the bathroom and out of the building behind her and then pinning my hand next to hers so we were walking close enough we could whisper without being overheard.

"I'm glad you decided to trust me," she says and I shrug.

"You're pretty trustworthy and besides it's not like choice really factors into things here. I needed to be here anyway."

"True," she tugs me a little closer, "But you didn't have to do what I'm going to make you do."

"Sign up for clubs?"

"That and I'm also thinking a little bit of shameless flirting," she smiles, turning to look at me.

Something cold settles in my belly at the thought of that.

We've stopped at the top of some stairs overlooking the fair, the common stretching out in front of us. The crowd there is immense and not thickly packed, but awfully dense all the same.

All of them are strangers. Sure buried in there amongst the group are probably a few familiar faces but there are an awful lot of strangers and an awful lot of potentially highly awkward encounters.

Especially if a free spirit and **** extrovert like Rachel is puppeting me along.

"Oh no," I moan.

"Oh yes," she nods, "I'm going to make you come out of your shell a little, it's really for your own good. We're going to get you known around campus and desired among it as well. You've got a bright future ahead of you, and I'm here to make sure it happens.

"Flirting with boys. Flirting with girls. Signing up for clubs. Making plans. All of that starts right here and now, with your cute little ass right in the palm of my hand."

"Can we start slow?" I plead with her.

She laughs, "Maybe a little. I'm not going to speed run you to the finish line if you don't want to but I'm going to need a little bit more than just some blushing stammering from you if you want to keep me satisfied, and you do want to satisfy me. Don't you?"

Rachel stares at me, bright eyed and eager and her words remind me of the way she made me feel and the way I want to make her feel. Oh god she's right about all of this, about me getting out of my shell and about how good it'll be to just follow her lead, to just submit.

Rachel wouldn't be alone on her birthday. She'd be like the girl I saw that night, the one who was the center of attention and who was eating it all up.

And I want to be that girl too. I would love to know what it's like to be her and I would be absolutely smitten with the thought of it.

So sure, I mean it was bound to happen sometime.

"I trust you," I tell her, "I'll follow your lead."

"Good," she smiles, a bounce in her step as she leads me down the stairs, "Now where do we begin?"
