Curses!

Frightened by the metallic menace, Caitlyn slowly backed away, her eyes never losing contact with the knight. “What- ‘ow on earth…?”

She thought back to when she was researching the heist. She remembered something about some kind of curse, that whoever would try to steal the jewels would be hunted down by a demon.

She just never expected it to be real.

Or that it would take the form of a medieval knight.

“L-look, I wasn’t planning on-“

“Do not insult me with thy foul deception, wench!” Demanded the “knight”. “Lest ye shall suffer thy wrath!”

Nodding along, the two robbers slowly walked backwards towards the exit.

“That should probably do it.” Grinned Steven.

“Oh, but I’m not quite done yet!” Said Mary as she took the controls from Steven. She pushed the forward button softly.

Then harder.

Then even harder.

And then at max speed!

Terrified of the running knight, the burglars fled as hard as they could. “We’re going, we’re going!”

Steven meanwhile dropped a cold sweat in horror as he saw Mary’s sadistic glee on her face.

“Was that look really that bad, dad?” Asked Cassie.

“Well, remember when we played Ludo?” Said Steven.

“Oh God, that is bad!” Exclaimed Cassie in shock.

“Aren’t you two exaggerating this a bit?” Asked Mary. “You’re acting like I’m a monster.”

“Mom, for the last ten years those eyes are still the main antagonist of my nightmares.”

“You really look like a demon when you stare like that.”

Indignant, Mary ignored the two and continued.

“I think you got them, Mary.” Said Steven as he slowly tried to take the controller away.

“No, just let me for one more minute!” Demanded Mary, as she tried to take the controller back. The two struggled for the controller, until…

The two looked in horror, as Steven said. “Did we just…?”

“Yes…”

“And now the knight won’t…?”

“Yes…”

“We should go…”

“Yes…” The two slowly walked backwards towards the exit.

“Why are ya still chasing us, we’re already leavin’?” Shouted Caitlyn to the knight. Since she wasn’t looking forward, she bumped into a mannequin of a tribal. This caused it to drop its spear, pinning her shirt and jeans to the floor. “Come on. I can’t get this bloody spear loose. Can ya help-“

“SorryCaitlyngottabailgoodluckwiththedemonbyeeee!”

“Bloody coward!” Caitlyn looked back, seeing the knight coming closer. She grabbed a dagger from her pocket, and sighed. “Of all the days to not wear a bra…”

Mary and Steven walked out of the museum, when there was a loud…

“Ah gaht it! Ah finally did!” Cheered Gus, jumping from joy.

The two turned around, only to get another photo taken. The two were shocked at the sight of a naked yokel taking their photo…

“What’s a ‘Reverse Prince Albert’?” Asked Cassie.

“Trust me Cassie, you don’t want to know.” Said Mary, visually disgusted by the memory.

“I’ll just google it for a bi- OH MY GOD, MY EYES!” Said Cassie, almost dropping her phone.

“Yeah, that was my reaction too.” Grinned Mary.

“Now to get to a computer, and this baby will make me sum money!” Cheered Gus as he ran towards the airport.
