Speak with Mina and Rose.

With one strap over her shoulder, Rose stops and is the first to speak. She gives a two-finger salute from her head and gives you a nod and a smirk. "It's been a pretty wild experience, I'll give you that, Demon King. But it's time for us to head out."

Mina joins in beside her. "Yeah! Thanks for having us."

"You're leaving?" Niki asks. "Why?"

Now Rose furls her brow and plants a hand on her hip. "You do know of Shadow Garden, right? I came here through circumstance, and I stayed through interest, but I have a lot that needs to be done, and I can only operate so effectively this far from the city. Mina and I have important duties. Things have surely cooled down by now too, so this is the perfect time to get back to work. This isn't my home, Niki. But you haven't seen the last of me. We're contacts now."

"That's right," Mina adds. "We'll be happy to trade with Castle Phoenix, both in goods and information."

You nod. "I hate to see you both go, but I understand. And of course I'd love to have direct contacts right in the underbelly of Tivera."

From the back, Queen Catherine finally speaks up with arms crossed. "And should I just pretend I'm not hearing any of this?"

Rose grins. "Relax. We've been operating since before you were queen, we didn't stop during, and we won't be going away after. But if it helps, I think you're one badass chick, and one I'd rather see on the throne than Thadius by far. Just maybe give us a break every now and then. Surely the queen can have a few dealings with--"

"I don't think so." Her words are strict and piercing, through she does follow up with a smirk of her own.

"Come on, Mina. Let's get on the road. No need to drag this out. It isn't goodbye anyway." Then she steps over the circle of papers and straight past you. She stops there, stares you straight in the eyes, and then gives a teasing kiss to her fingers before touching them to your lips. "Don't be a stranger," she whispers with a wink. Then she keeps going, with her mouse companion scurrying to keep up beside her.

They were guests for awhile, but it's time for Rose and Mina to depart back to their home. Just as you said, you hate to see her go, though you admit watching her leave isn't so bad. Her hips sway left and right with each step of her slender legs above her tight ass. Though it isn't long before they both disappear from view out through the main gates of Castle Phoenix.

It's quiet for a moment. But you turn to your party with a reassuring smile. "Well like she said, that wasn't goodbye. We'll see her again sometime soon. But in the meantime, who wants to head with me to find Fava? I need her to look at this battery."

All the girls around you raise their hand except the queen. "For now, I'm going to rest," she says.

"Of course. You only recently got out of bed. Don't push yourself."

Lynx gives your arm a tug. "Let's go then. The sooner she can figure out this battery thing, the sooner we can get more stuff from Earth, right?"

"Yes, actually. Ealdorman said that if we can get this working, he'll let me have his cellphone."

"I don't know what that is, but I want it!"
