Megumin's rival!?

"Hwy, can you move?" Kazuma asked as he dashed up to Megumin.

"Can you lend me some mana?" she asked. "It would help..."

He sighed and put a hand on her, using Drain Touch in reverse to transform some to her. "What the? Isn't that skill...?" Sena asked.

"A lich skill, yes. We encountered a lich in a dungeon a while ago, and the Adventurer class allows me to learn skills I see used," Kazuma replied, wording it carefully in case Sena had the bell on her. He doubted it, but wasn't taking chances. He was obviously implying that he learned the skill from fighting a lich, while pointing out he could do so as an Adventurer, without outright saying so, since he actually learned it from Wiz.

"I see," she replied, her suspicious demeanor dropping again as Megumin got up.

Kazuma then turned towards the mage who had helped them. She looked a good bit like Megumin actually, though she had more curves. Already, his perverted mind and his pragmatic mind were in agreement: he had to get this girl in his party if it was viable and she was on the up and up. "Hey! Thanks for helping us!" he waved to her.

"Um, well..." she replied demurely. "I wasn't outright trying to help you," she denied. "It would just be a disaster for me if my rival got eaten by a toad before I actually beat her..." She was looking at Megumin as she spoke.

"...eh?" Kazuma asked, turning his gaze towards Megumin, who just had a bored expression on her face. "Your... Rival?"

"Oh, you know Megumin?" Aqua asked the new arrival curiously.

"Know her? I guess you could say that," the mage girl replied. Then she took a deep breath. "It's been a long time Megumin! I've trained hard and come to find you so I could settle the score, just like I promised! Now, fight me!"
