"...who were you again?" Megumin asked in a bored tone. Kazuma, Aqua, Cremea, Fio and Xylixia proceeded to face fault.

"What!?" the girl demanded. "Don't you remember me Megumin!? It's me, your old classmate from Crimson Demon Village's academy! You were always in first place and me second!"

"...wait, were you really?" Kazuma asked Megumin.

"Of course, didn't I tell you when we met? I was first among the mages of the Crimson Demon Clan!" Megumin smirked.

"...I'd like to see the guy who's gullible enough to believe that from the girl dripping with toad slime," Kazuma replied.

"Hey!" Megumin pouted.

"Come on, I always used to challenge you on tests and stuff, and you would make me wager my lunches, and took all of them!" the girl whined.

"...and yet you have more meat on your bones than her, and I mean in the right places," Kazuma sniggered, getting a dirty look from Megumin.

"This looks like it may take a bit, so how about the rest of us just go and turn in the toads for the reward?" Aqua raised her arm up.

"...yes, this does look like it could get involved, so you're going to have to excuse me as well," Sena agreed. "Kazuma Sato, while I do believe that you are not involved with the Devil King, not everyone does, so I suggest you avoid making sure you don't make yourself look worse in the meantime."

"Fine, fine," Kazuma sighed, before turning back to the girl. "So... Do you know her or don't you?" Kazuma asked Megumin.

"...nope, not a clue. She didn't even introduce herself yet, which is suspicious," Megumin replied in a bored tone, making the girl get more flustered. "She must be a scammer or something... Best to avoid her..."

"Ugh, you're doing that on purpose! Fine, I'll introduce myself! I am Yunyun, Arch Wizard and wielder of advanced magic!" she declared, her eye glowing crimson the same way Megumin's did whenever she was about to cast Explosion. "And she who will be Chief of the Crimson Demon Clan!"

"...and there you have it," Megumin stated, dropping the facade. "That is Yunyun, daughter of the current chief, and my self proclaimed rival..."

"So you DO remember me!" Yunyun spluttered indignantly.
