Dessert

"Hey girls." I say greeting Luna and Innu as I sit down next to them.

"Master, did you have fun down there?" Innu asks.

"Yeah, it was good. What about you? I saw you sparring with the others earlier." I ask her back.

"Yeah, I had lots of fun! But I ran out of mana. That and I'm too tired from using Gigantomakia's ability."

"How are you doing Luna?" I ask the unusually quiet wolf girl.

"Fine. It sucks that I can't go spar with them all though." Luna replies.

"Yeah, but don't the two of you train at their Guildhall? Haven't you already sparred with most of them?"

"Yes, but that doesn't make it any less fun." Luna replies with a pout.

"At least you got to spar with Larion. I've been wanting to fight him since we fought the Devils." Innu says causing Luna to chuckle.

"Glad I'm not the only one."

"Only what?" I hear Flare ask from behind us. I turn and see Lilac running up behind her.

"Flare... Will you stop running off like that?" Lilac asks, out of breath. She's sweating and takes a seat in the row behind us. I notice Flare is breathing heavily, but isn't sweating or panting like Lilac.

"Sorry, saw Eric and others. Wanted to say hi." Flare replies causing Lilac to nod.

"What are the two of you doing here?" Innu asks. "Also, where's Ramia at?"

"We came to tell Asami that the dessert bar and tables are ready. She asked us to tell her when the chefs finished them. Ramia's down there telling her now. Flare must've seen you guys from down there and ran off. I came after her since I didn't know where she was going." Lilac replies causing me to look down at the arena. I see Asami talking with Ramia near the center. She's been keeping an eye on all the fighters. She intervened a few times and even kicked one person out of the arena. I'm not sure why since I was in the middle of a fight when it happened. I just heard about it from one of my opponents.

"What desserts are there?" Luna asks.

"There's cake, brownies, cookies, cupcakes, and some more. I don't know what most of the others are called though." Lilac says moments before Asami turns to microphone on. She clears her throat into the mic to get everyone's attention.

"Attention everyone, I need everyone to wrap up their matches. We'll be returning to the Guildhall shortly for dessert. If you're already done, feel free to change and return and start eating." Asami says before turning the mic off.

"Let's go!" Luna says happily while lifting Innu and I out of our seats. We go back to the Guildhall, since we already changed. Once we arrive I see Ayashi, Ramia, and Verona already making a plate. I notice that some of the tables are gone. There are a few benches along two of the walls though. There's a table full of paper plates and plastic utensils next to a large plastic bin near the back wall. There's a drink bar with a bunch of red plastic cups nearby. There are several tables covered in various types of desserts. Where the machine I stored away earlier was, is a large bowl. In the center is a wolf statue with two tails. The two tails are each shooting out chocolate. Next to the chocolate wolf fountain, is a smaller table filled with strawberries, marshmallows, bananas, and some more food to dip into the fountain. We walk over to them after grabbing a plate.

"Hey guys, what do you think?" Ayahsi asks us as we get close.

"It all looks great, I don't know where to start." Innu says while looking at the food in front of us.

"I do!" Luna says before putting a piece of cake on her plate.

"Do you know how Gaia's holding up Verona?" I ask after grabbing a slice of cake for myself.

"She's doing okay. She's almost out of mana, but that's not surprising considering she basically healed everyone who received anything more than a bruise today. But she'll get here with Asami. They're waiting for the last few matches to end. They're going to make sure no one gets left behind in the arena." Verona replies.

"Won't they miss out on this food?" Flare asks.

"No, the chefs are making extra, so there's plenty to go around. All the leftovers will be split up between the Guilds. If there's too much, they'll donate it to a local cafeteria. I don't know much about it other than they give food to the homeless and an orphanage." Ayashi replies.

"Do you w-want to try some Flare, Lilac?" Ramia asks the two of them.

"Can we?" Lilac asks.

"Yeah, A-Asami said it'd be fine. And Ayashi d-did just say there'd be plenty." Ramia replies causing Flare to nod excitedly. She turns around and runs back to the table of plates. She comes back with two plates and hands one to Lilac.

"Thank you Flare." Lilac says before they start filling their plates up. We all fill our plates up before we find a table.

"Aya, did you have fun sparring?" Luna asks Ayashi as we sit.

"I did. It reminded me of the old days when I'd help train the others. The only difference was my magic." Ayashi replies, being a little cryptic since there are others nearby.

"We should spar sometime then. You won't need to hold back your magic for me!" Luna says causing Ayashi to chuckle.

"Sorry Luna, but against anyone other than Eric or those equally skilled, I'll have to hold back. But I'd still love to spar with you." Ayashi says conflicting Luna. Luna's both happy that she agreed to spar, but sad that she said she'd have to hold back. I notice Asami enter the room with Gaia. She turns her microphone on before clearing her throat.
