Chapter 440 by voidcaller17
Who's Wining The Tournament?
The Guild Master!
I turn and see Ayashi a few feet away. I Blink a few feet behind me before swinging my Scythe. I leave a trail of the liquid behind before sending it at her. Just as Verona did, Ayashi swings her arm through it to destroy it. This causes the liquid to splatter all over her.

She flinches from the pain, not expecting it. I Blink back forward and swing again. She blocks with her arms before stomping the ground. Ghostly red hands start to emerge from the ground around us. They grow and close in on me. I jump back before Blinking away to avoid them. As soon as my foot touches the ground, the red hands emerge again. I jump back up causing the hands to disappear. So they only appear near me. But I can't stay in the air. I'll be too close to the stands and risk getting them caught in the blast. What if I disrupted her hands? She stomped the ground so what if I covered it? I think before smiling and landing in the center of the arena. The hands appear again as I cast Summon Forest. The ground shakes as a large tree sprouts behind me. It grows about twenty feet tall and covers me in shade from its dark grey leaves. I realize it's a smaller version of the big tree the Undead Dryad came out of. It spreads its roots around me. They go about twenty-five feet before stopping. As they travel, the red ghost hands disappear. Three Undead Ents appear from smaller trees. The big tree behind me cracks open, and I turn to see the Undead Dryad coming out. I didn't realize she'd be here too. I think before turning back to Ayashi. She looks at them surprised before running toward me. The tree Ents intercept her, the first swinging its arm at her. She jumps over before kicking its head. She tears it off, killing it in one blow. Its body disperses in a faint dark green mist. The other two attack together, but she's too fast for them. She kills them just as easily before turning to me. I see a wave of the dark green toxic liquid travel past me. Ayashi dodges it as the Undead Dryad walks over to me holding her sword, dripping with the liquid. Ayashi rushes us as the Dryad runs toward her. I get an idea and wait for a moment. I raise my Scythe up, getting ready to attack before casting Swap on myself and the Dryad. I swing my Scythe down on Ayashi, who smiles. She grabs my Scythe by the top of the blade. She pulls on it, pulling me toward her. She raises her foot and kicks my head.

I reach out and grab her foot as soon as she's kicked me. I toss her behind me, toward the Dryad. She sends a slash of the liquid at Ayashi. It hits her since she can't dodge in the air. At least not without using a different School of magic.

Ayashi creates a large ghost hand from her arm to grab the ground and stop herself. The Undead Dryad lunges for her and thrusts her sword at her chest. Ayashi knocks her sword away before punching her. The Dryad falls to the ground as I swing my Scythe for her exposed back. Ayashi turns to face me and raises her hand to catch it again. I cast Annihilating Strike on my Scythe. Her eyes widen in surprise before she jumps back. I create another slash that takes the Annihilating Strike from my Scythe. The dark grey trail flies toward Ayashi. She tries to dodge but my Dryad jumps on her from behind. Roots envelop Ayashis legs binding her in place. My slash hits her after she raises her arms to protect her face.

The Dryad jumps back as Asami jumps between us. Her Minotaur jumps between the Dryad and Ayashi.
"That's enough, Eric wins!" Asami says causing both Ayashi and I to look at her confused. She turns the mic off before jumping off her Wolf.
"Why'd you stop us? I can take a lot more than that." Ayahsi says while running up to us.
"I'm aware. But this tournament is just for fun and to show off your skills. If you two show off too much, however, it'll cause problems later." Asami says causing Ayashi to sigh. "Now Master, could you do something about this forest?" She continues while motioning to the large tree and Dryad. I nod before turning back to it. I focus on making it return to my Crystal Dimension. As soon as I do, the tree starts to collapse. The bark peels off as the branches and leaves crash down. They all fade into a green mist like the Ents did. After a minute, it disappears. I see the Dryad vanish in the same mist.
"What kind of Skill was that Eric? I've never seen anything like it." Ayashi asks me causing Asami to cough, getting our attention.
"You can talk about that later. The others are all coming down to start sparring." Asami says while motioning behind her. I see a large group of people all rising into the arena. Most of them split off into smaller groups. Asami jumps back on her Wolf before turning her mic back on. "Attention everyone! Before you start sparring amongst yourself, I need you to listen to this. Make sure you don't injure or wound anyone too severely! Try to fight those near your skill level! I don't want to see anyone bullying a weaker opponent! And keep it one on one! Thanks for listening, now get to it!" Asami says before turning the mic off and jumping off her Wolf. As soon as she's done, a group of people run over to Ayashi and I. They start asking to spar with us. Before we can respond, Asami tells them we'd be glad to. We start sparring with them, one on one. After a few fights, I notice the group waiting to spar with me has grown. I spend the next hour and a half sparring before I run out of mana. Since I still had my Ancient Beastial Strength active from my fight with Ayashi, I didn't use many spells for the first hour. After that, I had to use them a bit more. I was honestly impressed with them though. None of them could've beaten me in a real match, but they had quick reflexes and honed skills. There were a few times I ended up with my back against a wall. After I run out of mana, I return to the stands. As I leave I hear a few of them shout asking to spar again. Once I return to the stands I see Luna and Innu sitting where we were earlier.
What Do They Have To Say?
