The Final Match

Asami starts the match before Kallen raises his sword. It shines blindingly bright in an instant. I have to turn away from it since staring at it hurt my eyes. Once it fades I see Kallen bringing his blade down on Ayashi. She catches his sword with her hand wrapped in her ghostly red energy. She kicks his chest causing him to get knocked back. Her strength sends him sliding to the ground a few feet away. She kept her grip on his sword, stealing it from him. Kallen gets up and I see a look of surprise and shock on his face. He shakes his head before rushing Ayashi again. He pulls his free hand back as a ball of light appears in his palm. The sword Ayashi took lights up like it became a lantern. It disappears in an instant only to reappear in Kallen's hand. He brings it down on Ayashi again, but this time she bats it away with her left hand. She goes to punch his chest as he raises his shield. He blocks it but still gets pushed back. He jumps back before swinging his sword in the air. A trail of light gets left behind similar to my Scythe. He sends it flying at her before making another. He creates a barrage of flying light slashes. Ayashi dodges or shatters them all with her fists. She quickly makes her way to him before jumping. She creates two wings made of ghostly red energy. She uses them to launch herself at Kallen. He raises his shield to try and block her and she raises her hand to punch. Ayashi crashes down on Kallen creating a storm of dust. Asamis Wolf uses its two tails to blow away the dust. Ayashi's standing above Kallen with her foot on his right wrist. She's holding down his sword arm, and his shield has been broken in two. Blood runs down the side of his head. His sleeve next to his shield is slowly getting soaked with his blood.

"Ayashi wins!" Asami says before the two get up. They shake hands before Kallen walks over to where Gaia is. "Before we start the final match, we're going to take another break to fix the arena." Asami continues before riding her Wolf over to me. She jumps up to the stands and dismounts.

"Hey Asami, you're doing great!" Liz says as she walks over to us.

"Thanks Liz. Now Master, you can't use your Sword of Annihilation here, okay?" Asami says sternly.

"Why not?" I ask confused.

"Because there are too many people. You used it back during the Litch King fight, so we can't hide that you have it. But it would be bad if people found out too much about it. So you can't use it in this tournament." Asami replies causing me to sigh.

"Fine, I won't." I say causing her to smile.

"Good, now c'mon!" Asami tells me before jumping back on her Wolf. She jumps down to the arena as it finishes getting repaired. I see Ayashi's still in the arena. I jump down after Asami and run over to Ayashi.

"Are you ready for our rematch Eric?" Ayashi asks me.

"Yeah, but I'm not using the Sword of Annihilation. So keep that in mind while your plumbing me." I reply.

"For the record, I'll be holding back too. I can't use any magic other than what I've been using. I don't have a convenient excuse for why I can use all Schools like you do. So I have to stick to one." Ayashi says before Asami coughs to get our attention. She points to her microphone before turning it on, warning us that the others will be able to hear us now.

"Thanks for waiting! We're now ready for the last match of our tournament! This match will be between Eric and Aya! Are the two of you ready?" Asami asks us. I take out my Boots, Claws, Horns and cast Ancient Beastial Strength. It was still active from when I cast it for my fight with Bergeth. But it's been about an hour since then. So I recast it so it doesn't run out during my fight. I draw my weapons as Ayashi covers her arms and legs in the ghostly red energy. Seeing her gives me an idea, so I sheath my weapons and swap them back to their empty secondary equipment. I take out my Corrupted Forest Kings Scythe and make it grow. The Scythe blade starts dripping its green acidic liquid. My arms get enveloped in roots, and they grow above my Dark Claws.

"You got a new weapon?" Ayashi asks causing me to nod. Asami sighs before raising her hand. She's never seen this, so unless Verona told her anything she doesn't know what this Scythe is.

"Without further ado, get going you two!" Asami shouts before jumping back. I turn to look at her shocked that she'd start it so abruptly. I sense Ayashi attacking and turn back to her.
