The Demonic looking Farmer

Pausing a moment longer in the center of the square Maria makes her way through the crowd towards the horned woman's stall. While some might have been turned away by her more demonic appearance the soft lines of her face, with the soft wrinkles of many smiles, serve to make an entrancing appearance for the woman that only draws Maria closer. The woman gave a small glance up towards Maria as Maria drew nearer to her stall. Maria stood awkwardly for a moment before the woman offered a small polite smile, "Can I help you my dear?"

Maria felt frozen for a moment, before a short stammering, "Uh, well c-can you tell me where I am?"

A blink, followed by a tilt of the head passed before the woman offered a ****, "The Aphrodite Market Plaza."

Maria's fear was suddenly washed away by an embarrassment mixed dose of rage. _Of course the woman was not giving her the name of the world or planet or whatever it was she was on, because no normal person would do tha_t, a deep breath brought her back to the moment, "I meant in a more general sense, I- well, I don't think this is where I'm from, like, at all."

A spark flashed through the woman's eyes, recognition, Maria hoped, as the woman replied, "Oh, I think perhaps I understand what you mean, please dear take a seat, I'm Wynnfled, but you may address me as Wynn."

"I'm Maria. So can you tell me where I am then?"

"Yes, I suppose. I am to take it that you're from some other world?"

"Oh, uh, yep. I guess. I don't know where I am or how I got here, can you help?"

"I can certainly tell you where you've arrived at the least, beyond that I'll leave it up to you," Wynn said with a gentle smile, "This is Lustvale, sometimes called the Lustvale. It is not completely unknown for people to come to this world from other worlds, though mostly the subject of myths you understand. I personally lack anything that might help you seek a way home."

It wasn't the news Maria had been hoping for. In all truth she'd been hoping that this woman might tell her that there was an easy way home through the publicly accessible portal across the street, but that hope had always been a hope she expected to be dashed upon the rocks.

It wasn't until Wynn interrupted her thoughts that she realized how visible her disappointment had been, "If you'd like I'm always looking for help around the farm, I can't really pay you but I can offer you room and board while you look for a way back home."

Maria felt herself perk up at the offer, perhaps it isn't everything she hoped for but it would mean she had a place to stay, food to eat, and safety in the unfamiliar world before she went looking for a way home.
