Daisy and Sam wave at us by the statue. Dani, Virginia and I rush towards them.

“What took you three so long?” Sam asked.

“Not much. We had to slay a recently-turned and I had to be careful about not disturbing a hunt near the girls dorm, but the question is how did you get here so fast?” I ask.

“Don’t ask.” Daisy bluntly replies, seemingly like she is hiding something. I glare at her. “Fine, I had a potion I stole from the chemistry class from last term. It turned me and Sam invisible to all mythical beings.”

Dani, Virginia and I are impressed.

“Not bad for a witch.” Sam responds. I raise my eyes. SHE IS A WITCH?!?!

“Hehe, thanks Sam. And yeah, sorry about not telling you earlier, Alex.” Daisy blushes.

We are silent for a bit, then we hear the speakers.

“Attention all Bloods. Any beings that aren’t brought under our alliance will be free meals. So far there is 49 students and 24 staff left to dine on. After they are gone, we expand into Fortmont City.”

That sounds like their leader.

“We have to go. Let’s become fugitives and find safety post haste.” I announce to the group. Sam, Dani, Virginia and Daisy nod. We run down the stairs towards the road and escape.

5 hours later we reach the city.
