Tries to talk to her

Jake gulped as he watched his ex from a distance thinking about how he should approach this. They hadn’t left things on the best of terms the other day. He didn’t see this going well no matter what he thinks to try, taking a deep breath he decides to just bite the bullet and see how it plays out. Alex sipped on her smoothie unaware of him as he slowly walked up from behind her table. Her happy expression quickly switching to angry one as she set down her smoothie. He gave a sheepish smile as he stepped around to the opposite side of the table an sat down.

“What do you want?” She spat at him bitterly. “Heard from the new employee you bought the last watch. What for?” He asked her curious to know what her intentions were. “I did, but why do you care? Yours not working?” Alex said with a sly smirk, folding her arms noticing a silver watch on her wrist. Jake instantly recognized the watch, it was practically idental minus the color. “Considering you ruined mine, I’d say you owe me. Give it to me.” Alex rolled her eyes at this. “Considering you caused a scene the other day and embarrassing me you can bite me.”

She said before returning to enjoying her smoothie. Yeah that approach went as well as he thought it would. “Besides if you found out I got the last one, you probably getting yours repaired… So why do you want mine so bad?” Jake started to panic as she was quickly putting the pieces together. He was going to try and bribe her next, but if he tried that now she would realize what she had. He was quickly running out of options fast when he heard beeping sounds snapping him out of his thoughts. He looked across the table to see Alex was smirking as she was looking at the watch’s display.
