Wait for the right moment

“We hide, restart time, and wait for the right moment”, said Katie.

“Why?”, asked Mark.

“Because this bitch”, Katie points to Julianna, “and Nadia are talking. And no one can see her when she ‘disappears’ out of thin air.”

Mark wanted to smack himself for missing the obvious. Was he really that horny to where he is being distracted like that.

“Come on”, Katie said. “Lets hide in the kitchen closet.” The two friends made their way to the closet and hide, making sure neither Nadia or Julianna could see them. “Do your thing”, Katie whispered.

“Start time.” The two are hit by a sudden onslaught of noises and smells as time restarts. In the kitchen, Nadia and Julianna continue their conversation.

“I’m just not sure…I…I like Mitch, but to elope. It is a lot and a huge commitment.”

“Nadia”, Julianna said sternly. “The whole point of eloping is that I wouldn’t know about it.” She put her hand of Nadia’s shoulder. “But I’m glad you came to me for advice. And yes, I would be proud to have you as my daughter in law.”

Nadia smiled slightly. “Thanks, it just…”

“Just what? Nadia, sometimes you have to do what the heart wants.”

Nadia breathes in sharply. “You’re right…I…we are going to do I think.”

Julianna smiled softly, “go get him.”

“Thanks, uhh Mom”, Nadia said as she got up from the Stool. “Oh, since we’re going to be gone, do you mind letting the Donovan’s know, my sister is over there with her friend and won’t have a ride.”

“Sure thing honey.”

With that, Nadia made her way out towards Mitch’s bedroom to tell him yes. Suddenly whilst approaching the stairs, Nadia, along with the rest of time freezes in place.
