After crossing the river, I continue moving straight ahead. I am sure it is another good distance before I get there. But eventually, I am going to have to head to my right. I don’t want to turn too early. It is already getting dark and if it is too dark, I might no longer see the rope marking where the path starts. Imagine I trip over it and fall on the path by accident. Then I’d have bad luck for a whole year.

Maybe I should play it safe and keep going straight for another bit? I mean, the worst I can get is to catch my sister. Or gods forbid, Cerridwen. It would be weird to be forced to get back together with her. So maybe not catching any girl is not the worst that could happen. So, what’s the best I can do right now?
