Finally!

"Let's GOOOO!" Luna begs while pulling on my arm. I hear Irene laugh softly.

"Is she normally this energetic?" Irene asks and I nod.

"Yeah, especially when it comes to things she's excited about." I reply before pulling my arm free from Luna. "Is everyone ready then?" I ask while turning to them all. Luna lets out a happy howl and Innu lets out a small egear roar. Irene and Marlo nod excitedly. I realize now that I've never Observed Marlo, so I do that as we walk to the changing rooms.

I lead the way to the fifth changing room. I type the code into the door, while Luna and Innu excitedly wait behind me.

"What's the plan for when we get in?" Irene asks as I finish entering the code. The seam between the stone door and doorway lights up. A click sound can be heard as the door creaks an inch open.

"Do we need a plan?" Innu asks, as Luna tries to open the door. I stop her, so we can talk before entering.

"Y-yes. Since we don't know what monsters we'll face or the layout, we can't plan out too much. But we should create a formation at the very least." Irene replies and Innu nods, confused but trying to understand. "Do you not normally use formations?"

"Not really, the three of us usually fight up close. But since we rarely know what monster we'll fight, we adjust our strategies during the fight." I reply causing her to look at me in disbelief.

"Then, how about you three lead in the first room? It'll give Irene and I a chance to see the way you fight. Then we can come up with a formation." Marlo says causing Luna to nod repeatedly.

"Yes, let's do that!" Luna says causing me to sigh with a smile.

"Okay, then let's get going." I say before opening the door and walking through. We enter into a warehouse and I look around.

"Are you the Steele Wolves?" I hear a woman ask. I turn and see a woman with pitch-black hair. She has sunglasses on and is wearing a suit. It looks like the same one Dale had, it even has the same Runes. Her body is tense like she's ready to fight. I can sense a rather large amount of mana from her. It's just a bit less than what Luna has.

"Yes, I'm Eric, the Guildmaster." I say, introducing myself. I'm still not used to doing this, so it comes off a little stiff. The woman nods before easing up.

"The Ruins door is against the wall there." She says before pointing to her right. I turn and see a familiar red door, it looks the same as the last Ruins entrance. "The Ruins is seven floors deep, but that's all we know about it. Good luck." She says before walking over to a door. I can see a window next to it, and it looks like an office inside. Luna and Innu run over to the door and I follow them. The five of us open the door and get teleported to the Ruins. I look around in awe, not expecting this. We're standing in a clearing in a forest. The forest seems to go on forever. However, about twenty-five feet in all directions is a wall of fog. The fog is mostly see-through, just visible enough to be noticed. At the bottom of each wall, is an archway made from wood and vines. Inside the archway, is an inky black mist, the same as the last Ruins. Behind the fog is where the trees start appearing. I look up and see the sky is green instead of the normal blue. There are three archways, one to our left, one to the right, and one dead ahead. Behind us is the red door used to leave.

"Which way should we go?" Irene asks.

"Left!" Luna says before running to the archway to the left. I shrug before following Luna. The others follow us and I make sure they're ready before touching the darkness. I don't add any of them to my party for a few reasons. The first is that Asami warned me not to. She told me that it'll just draw unneeded attention to me. People will wonder where the items I get from quests comes from. The second is that I want to see how Luna and Innu do on their own. The inky darkness disappears and I look inside. The trees that we saw on the other side are gone. Inside the clearing is four Lizardmen. They all are covered in grey scales and have loincloths. Two hold a spear, one holds a bow, and the last one holds a sword and shield. All are made of wood and crude metal. They turn toward us as we enter.

"Let's go!" Innu shouts before running forward. I run after her, along with Luna. I Observe the Lizardmen as we approach.

I see Innu slam her blade down onto the one with a shield. It blocks with its shield but falls to its knee. Luna jumps onto one with a spear, knocking it to the ground. I cast Ancient Beast Strength, wanting to show off a little. I dodge my Lizardman's spear and stab my Dagger into its chest.

I cast Explosion before pulling my Dagger out. I activate the mark immediately as the Lizardman raises its spear.

Rare Material Drop

I run past the Lizardman as it explodes. I run over to the Lizardman with the bow. I dodge its arrow, and it starts to draw another. I raise my Katana before Blinking forward. I appear in front of it and cut down to its shoulder. It raised its bow in an attempt to block, and I cut through it.

Rare Material Drop

I store the Crystal Heart it dropped before turning around. I see Luna and Innu running over to me. They're holding the Hearts from their Lizardmen, and Luna grabbed the Heart from the other one I slew. I thank them before storing the Hearts away.

"That was impressive." I hear Irene say. I turn and see her and Marlo running up to us.

"Thanks, but how about you and Marlo lead on this next one? I'd like to see how you do." I ask and the two nod. We walk to the left archway, having three available again. I open it up and we walk inside.
