melanoche began on the next section of my new creation. "as I've mentioned you also get a class, you have six options"

a burst of unearned knowledge assaulted my mind:

1. knight. a tanky aoe buffer, you get a taunt that forces your enemies to attack you and gives you a defense buff and a pair of warcries that boosts your allies defense and attack respectively
2. sorcerer. your typical wizard with a plethora of elemental spells, and the abilty craft long-lasting potions and explosives using mana
3. assassin. a sneaky one-hit kill loving rouge that hides in the shadows and strikes when you least expect it, it has long and short range options
4. barbarian. a tanky attacker that rages to gain more attack at cost of defense and is able to summon spirits to buff its stats
5. cleric. your stereotypical healer with decent defense and lots of light/dark spells depending on what gods you worship
6. ranger. you begin with a deep knowledge of either men dwarves or elves, along with knowledge of either plains forests or mountains, the class scales in power with your knowledge of the world.

I began to consider the options out loud, "hmm...barbarian is powerful, but seems useless in the case of building an empire or large military operations, assassin is good for espionage but still dosen't help me lead an army, ranger would help me start out with some unerstanding of the world, but that knowledge could me learned later, sorecerer is good, I might be able to use it's crafting power to enhance an army, but still, it isn't perfect, cleric is tempting, I could heal my offspring and stay in the background, but knight lets me buff my allies to high hell and defend them actively so I'll take that one"

melanoche commended my choice "a pragmatic decision."

"WHAT ABOUT THE CHEATS!" yelled the annoying voice

melanoche quieted the other voice "we were getting to those, so pipe down"

"cheats? weren't you mad at the light because they cheated?" I asked

melanoche explained why cheats were an option, "we need to counterbalance the light's cheats with our own, I'll explain the options"

"first off is hud, it makes it easy to view your stats and octuples your exp, so pretty handy for leveling"

"second is... basically a magic bullet kills everything in range with no bullshit"

"third is a sentimental object to me, the heart of aldabaal, a long dead demon king, it gives you 400% more monster exp and another monster power."

"fourth is the soul of a hero-

"and it's my favorite! demon king gozka murderrape got it after he did his thing to the hero, he was the best!" yelled the other voice

"no he wasn't! he lost thousands of acres of territory and and cause a massive revolution that took half a century to Quell!" yelled melanoche

ewwww, that sounds disgusting, and inefficient

fifth is experimental... we might be able to fuse another species into yours... but it might not work very well and have some side effects, so if you want to you could try it"

hmm i suppose i could take another species like verdue or bioferric or theronic, that would be a great Idea!

"I'll take it!"

"but what about the sixth op-" asked melanoche.

"I don't care, fuse me up!" I interrupted.

melanoche sighed in defeat "Fine, what species."

"thereonic!" I exclaimed excitedly.

"that's a terrible idea! it and erosarkic are entirely incompatible!" shouted melanoche.

"wait wha-"

"who cares!! let's do it!" interrupted the other voice.

melanoche sighed heavily, seemingly not hearing my hesitation. "fine"

and before I could stop them the two voices then began to reshape my soul and body

the next thing I felt was not just pain, but also an **** incoherence, far beyond any fever dream I had ever been through, I could feel my body coming apart at the seams, along with my mind

"... that doesn't look good."

"no it doesn't. well, might as well throw it down and hope for the best. yeet!"
