More cats
You watch as the hipster girl finishes her work and closes her laptop. You smile to yourself. You know what's going to happen next.
She stands up and turns to leave, but she stops in her tracks. She looks around in confusion.
"What the--?" she says.
You laugh to yourself. You know exactly what she's seeing. You wrote the rule that made her see cats everywhere she looks.
She tries to walk around the cats, but they're everywhere. She can't even get to the door.
"This is weird," she says.
You watch her struggle, and you feel a little bit bad for her. But you also feel a little bit smug. You know that you're the one who's in control.
She looks around for someone who can help her, but the other patrons are all ignoring her. They're too busy petting the cats.
The hipster girl is starting to get scared. She doesn't know what's happening, and she doesn't know how to make it stop.
You smile to yourself. You know how to make it stop. You just have to cross out the rule.
You open the Rulebook and find the rule. You cross it out, then close the Rulebook.
A moment later, the cats disappear. The hipster girl is left alone in the coffee shop.
She takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly. She's relieved that the cats are gone, but she's also confused.
"What just happened?" she says.
You don't say anything. You just smile to yourself. You know what happened. You made it happen.
You're the one with the power. You're the one who can make people see cats. You're the one who can make people's lives a little bit more interesting.
And you're just getting started.
