She’s scatterbrained

“You can just say it.” Phil Dinphy said interrupting his wife.

“Scatterbrain.” Claire Dunphy finished, describing her youngest daughter Alex.

“Sometimes she studies so hard she forgets about the little things.” He said explaining about his daughters habits, forgetting sometimes to brush her teeth, tie her shoes, or even remember to put on clothes…

It had been a busy morning for Alex Dunphy, her finals was coming up and it was worth 80% of her final grade, she really needed to do well. So after getting very little sleep she stuck her head in her book and had been studying all day, while trying to go over her morning routine.

One detail she did notice was she was almost at the end of her textbook, she would need to go to the library and take a few more out.

With her goal in mind she walked out of her room and downstairs toward the front door, her head still down reading her book. She opened the door and closed it, and started walking down the street towards the bus stop that would take her to campus.

Unfortunately the middle sibling in the Dunphy household had forgotten her purse by the door, containing her phone, wallet, and school ID, but that wasn’t the only thing she had forgotten.
