Chapter 300 by SilverSpectre006 SilverSpectre006

What's next?

Sparks turn to Flames

Syri looked up from her seat, scooting her chair as Janette pulled up her own. She adjusted her dress and lifted it just enough so that sitting down wouldn't cause the dress to be tangled. The Nekomata gave a slight nod as her friend sat next to her, both seemingly enjoying the social activities of the others around them. Janette had taken a few minutes to herself to prepare, to gain some courage before making her presense known. However, as she brushed the waist of her dress, she began to silently curse herself for not preparing an introduction to approach her as well in hopes of making their interaction more natural.

'What am I doing, just talk to her.'

Janette glanced over at Syri only to confirm that she was watching her as their eyes locked. She smiled and Syri quickly looked away, rubbing her arm and tapping her paw as her tails coiled around her waist. Thinking fast, Janette reached out as a waitress passed by, snatching up two glasses of wine before presenting one to her Nekomata. Syri looked up and was caught by surprise, thanking her as she reached out to grab it with her two paws. It was like a furry sandwich grip with the glass in between, a sight that made Janette chuckle, but it was not as funny as it was seeing Syri bring it to her nose to sniff before dipping her tongue into the beverage back and forth.

Janette snorted, shook her head, and raised her wine held delicately by her fingers as she pressed it to her lips and sipped. Syri watched before looking down at her own glass, her eyebrows coming together as she pressed her lips tight and sat up straight. She tried readjusting her grip, perhaps attempting to balance the glass on just one paw, but quickly she lost control as the glass slipped from her paw.

She gasped before catching it in time with her tail extended and wrapped around the stem.

"Nice rescue." Janette complimented her.

"Thanks." Syri bit her tongue, carefully raising the glass as it wiggled and wavered under her tail grip. She looked over to spot another woman take a sip from her glass so easily. Looking back at her own glass, she hunched forward, sliding further from her seat in an attempt to close the gap between her and her beverage. Janette watched in amusement, wondering if she should interrupt the display and volunteer to help. But she was curious to know if the cat girl could pull this off, and Syri would prove it so as she bit into the glass before clumsily taking an awkward 'sip' as some red wine dribbled from her chin onto her neck.

"Oh, careful." Janette reached in, napkin in hand as she pressed it to her collar to stop it from reaching down her chest. She gently patted it around, cleaning her neck and chin while Syri gave a sincere smile. That damn, adorable little smile.

"Are you enjoying yourself?" Janette asked, reaching out and grabbing Syri's glass as her tail relaxed and fell back to rest on the grass.

Syri nodded, looking around and smiling. "It's nice, I like seeing so many people happy."

"Yes, it i- oh! Bless you!" She watched as Syri scrunched her nose before turning her head away and sneezing again. "Bless you!"

It took a quick moment for the Nekomata to recover, her face turning red as she cleared her throat. "Sorry, something in the air."

Janette sheepishly smiled. "Right. It's good to see you smile."

"Thank you. It's good to see you."

Janette placed her drink on the table. "Most of the party will be leaving in two days. I understand that some of the Nekomata will be going with them, including your sister. How did that happen?"

"It was her choice, not mine." Syri paused for a moment. "She wants to help change how people see us. I just hope she comes back to see us again soon."

"Are you nervous? Being the new Head Mother that is."

She shrugged. "Mom is helping me a lot, I would be more nervous if she wasn't around."

Janette nodded. "Well, I guess everyone has a place to go. I wanted to thank you and everyone else for helping me rebuild."

"Isn't this party already a way of thanking us?"

"No, it's a way to remember you."

Syri smiled, brushing a few hair silver strands that hung over her face. "That's very sweet. You're just as sweet as this wine, you even smell as sweet too. Like a drop of honey landing on the tip of my tongue."

She blushed and covered her mouth before laughing as Janette was caught by surprise. "I didn't think you would mention that! I was actually wondering about it, it should be gone. I mean... the mark is still there."

Syri didn't respond, instead looking down at the grass or up into the starry night. Those words lingered for a moment as neither of them knew what to say next, or rather Janette wondered what Syri would say next.

"I think I need to use the restroom. Can you show me where to find it?" Syri asked in an innocent voice.

Janette blinked before standing up.

"It really isn't a problem, you're overreacting."

Nyitzcha rolled her eyes, pushing him to sit on the bed while she had a towel in hand. She pressed it over his lap with both hands, looking him in the eyes before speaking.

"Go'on, use both hands and press. Keep the fabric pushed in, it'll soak up as much as it can. Don' think it will stop de stain but it'll do fer now. Fuck me, sorry bout de fancy pants o'yers. I'll get em cleaned 'fore ye leave t'morrow."

Spi'Reto sheepishly obliged, keeping his eyes locked onto hers. "It's really not a big issue, I have other clothes I can wear."

"Sure, I s'pose. Still was ill manners t'spill yer drink over ye." Nyitzcha adjusted her orange hair before hopping up to sit next to him in bed. "Oh hey, any clue where ye goin' to?"

"When we leave? We have some destinations in mind."

Nyitzcha snickered. "Off to find a new forest? Carve out a hole an' call it home?"

"Not going to drop the woodland jokes, are you?" He groaned.

She shrugged in return. "Why, it bother ye?"

"A bit."

"Den I keep doin' it till it stops bein' fun."

"I hadn't realized you carry such distaste for elves."

"Ey, I dun hate elves! I was once married to one, y'know."

Spi'Reto felt his eyes double in size. "That is a surprise, did he pass away?"

"I hope not. We had different paths 'n life. He wanted to go freely an' I wanted t' tend to me tavern, stay put."

"Not much for traveling?"

She shrugged "Once 'n a while sure. Not much fer stayin' put?"

"I don't mind every once in a while. However," he pressed a finger to his chin before shaking the thought out of his head. "Nay, would be too much."

"Spit it out!"

"I suppose the thought of a home is appealing, and yet the adventure intrigues me more. To see more of the world, explore new lands and encounter new creatures, much like yourself. Perhaps taller, more sophisticated, far less barbaric and boisterous in nature, and without an ego twice her own size."

The dwarf was left in shock, mouth agape before punching his arm. "Easy there, I've quite a knack for fireworks. Keep dat in mind when ye take off, and hope ye don't find a parting gift in yer baggings."

"A parting gift?" The elf chuckled at the thought as she rose on her feet.

"A part of ye here, a part of ye there, staining the ground an' offerin' yer blood to the roots to help yer trees grow big."

"Bigger than you? Not expecting too much from the tree, are we?"

Both dwarf and elf burst out into joined amusement, laughing at the others remark. His smile remained even when they both calmed down, and it was then that he took notice of the pain in his face from smiling for so long. He rubbed his cheek and sighed.

"I should admit that I will miss you. I don't suppose there are other dwarves much like you. Say we do encounter some that share in your attributes or traits, I doubt any would quite match up to your charm."

Nyitzcha grinned. "Nay, one of a kind 'ere. Always was. Be missing ye as well. I s'pose most elves 'ave a pretty face, but dey rarely offer much more."

"And I do?"

"Ye stick to yer mum as if ye were fresh off da teet, but there is a charm to ya. More den a cute face, I like. Be makin' de women ye find swoon fer ye. But, ye won't be yerself 'till ye go by yer own. Mommy won't be holdin'yer hand forever. Boys cling to their mothers to lead, but Men be the ones to lead the boys. Yer cute as you are, but if ye grow up, dat would be the day."

Spi'Reto nodded his head, keeping quiet until she was done.

"Some of the older ones in the tribe have teased that becoming a man begins after taking a woman."

"Ay, where to?" Spi'Reto snorted as Nyitzcha blinked before smacking her forehead. "Ah, right. The dance."

"The dance?" He seemed confused as she jumped out of the bed to face him with a stern look.

"Ye know, the dancin' of the flesh, joinin' of two bodies."

"Sex?"

"Ay, sex. Yer tellin' me ye haven't had sex before? I can see dat."

"Hey." Spi'Reto smiled sheepishly as she chuckled.

"Told ya, bein' a Mommy's boy won't do ye no favors." She snorted before rubbing her chin, her eyes scanning him up and down. "Hmm, p'raps if ye had some muscle to yer wee twigs. Dey don't seem too appealing, and yer dumb face screams virgin as well."

"Really inspiring, you are."

Nyitzcha leaned forward, placing her palms over his thighs. It grabbed his attention as he cupped his hands over hers in response, eyes wide open and face turning red. He looked up and stared back into her eyes, a pair of bright hazel eyes that matched her freckled face and bright orange hair parted in the middle and tied into two long flowing pony tails that nearly reach her thighs. He became aware of her choice of fashion, for tonight she decided on something more traditional which included a dark green lace dress, the fabric hugging her waist. She carried a checkered green woolen shawl drapped over her shoulders, hung like a small cape, and a dark headress which reached until her two ponytails were.

She was no longer wearing her leather boots and chestplate clothing for fighting, or her apron for work. Tonight she appeared to him as a woman, loud and appealing, short yet mature, experienced and beautiful. Her smile and the reinforced squeeze of her grip on his legs were beginning to have an unexpected effect on him.

"I can be a lot more den inspiring." She replied in a softer voice.

He swallowed nervously as she looked down between them and snickered.

"You're serious?" He asked, clarifying as to make sure there was no misunderstanding.

"Seems you are too, fills a lass with pride t'know she get a man going." She replied, placing her hand over his bulge and brushing it in soft strokes. "It's yer first time, so how 'bout I give ye a night t'remember? Ye don't mind sleeping with a dwarf, do ye?"

He shook his head, watching carefully as she began to undo his trousers and lick her lips. "Good, cuz it's been a while since this lass had some fun. Tonight is goin' t'be good!"

Felix nudged the door open, carrying a squealing cat girl in his arms as he leaned against the doorframe. "This one?" She looked around as her eyes settled on the thin piece of cloth on the mattress, smiling. "Yup!"

With her approval, he pulled the door shut behind them and moved onward, placing her on the bed as she clapped her paws. "Kuli has a surprise for you, right here on this bed!"

"Oh, does she?" She nodded vigorously as he smiled back. "What kind of surprise?"

With a brush of her tail, she hooked it beneath the piece of cloth as it hung between, swinging gently. She beamed, flashing her teeth and sitting up. If it were not for her pregnancy, she would cross her legs as well. "You've been such a good mate, spoiling me late at night every time I get hungry or needy, that I knew one night I would spoil you back. And tonight is that night, you are going to be spoiled."

Felix grabbed onto the rag, hand trembling slightly as he seemed a bit uneasy. "This goes over my eyes? Kuli, I don't know. I've been blinded before and not once has it been an experience I wish to repeat before."

She cupped his face and pulled him in, sealing his worries with a gentle peck on his lips. "I promise you will be safe, no one will hurt you. I would never allow it. Please, let me spoil you tonight. Let me show you how much I love you."

Felix swallowed, looking into her bright golden eyes before holding her paw. He nodded and she grinned in return, scooting as he sat beside her and slowly wrapped the blindfold around his eyes. His vision had been compromised, her beauty now disappeared as the bedroom faded into black. She guided him to lean back, his enhanced hearing now helping him remain calm along with her touch. As she adjusted her sitting posture on the squeaky mattress, he turned his head as another sound could be heard. When she placed her paw on his chest, she could feel his worried heart beating anxiously. She kissed his cheek and pressed her face against chest, brushing his side and whispering that it will be fine.

He took a moment before his heart began to grow steady, but was startled once he felt a different set of hands brush along his thighs. These were not Nekomata paws, he could hear the familiar giggle of his mate as she kissed him on the cheek while someone else kissed him on the other cheek at the same time. Now he was blushing.

"Are you ready for your reward?" She teased him as those hads began to pull at his waistband.

Janette closed the door behind them as they stepped into the bedroom, guiding Syri toward the restroom. She sat behind and placed their drinks on the dresser near the bed, waiting patiently. Unbeknownst to her, the Nekomata did not feel a need to relieve herself. Rather, Syri hunched over the sink with a bright red hue across her face, her body tingling as her nose was deeply intoxicated with that lingering scent. That knowing smell she recognized before, vaguely disguised by that perfume Janette wore over her dress. She could smell it as soon as she sat beside her, how could she not? The scent was beginning to have its desired effect, she fought against the natural urge to move her tails between her legs, hoping that a splash of water on her face would keep her steady.

She closed her eyes, remembering their first night together nearly a year ago. How Janette had took charge and taught her how to please a woman. How the two teased each other and made love on her bed that night, patiently teaching the Nekomata. How Syri was fueled by her moans, her beauty, her voice, her personality...

She bit her bottom lip and squeezed her thighs together, that damn scent clouding her mind with lust. When she heard a knock on the door, Syri inhaled and tried her best to compose before opening. Janette stood there with a worried expression and a glass of wine in her hands.

"Hey, I heard the water running for some time. Are you feeling okay?"

Syri shook her head, exiting the restroom and hugging herself. "I think we both know you're in heat."

Janette nodded. "I wanted to ask why, we agreed to be friends. Monster Girls go into heat, mates go into heat. Friends... don't go into heat with each other. Do you... "

"I do. I know you do too, I know we agreed to take some space between each other. It doesn't help that you're in heat now, but I do."

"I'm sorry, I'll open the window for you." She placed the drink down, rushing to the window and pushing it open as the sounds of music and laughter can be heard from outside. She leaned over and took a deep breath, enjoying the chill air on her face for one second. As she turned around, she found a Nekomata clumsily attempting to take a sip of her wine.

"What are you doing?" Janette laughed, which did not do Syri any favors as she nearly choked on her drink.

"Trying to drink the way humans do. No hands makes it hard!" She pouted, wiping the spilled wine off her chin. She gasped as Janette leaned in from behind her, reaching for her glass for her.

"Janette?"

"It's okay, let me be your hands. You can see what it's like to drink fancy." She grabbed the drink from her paws, carefully pressing it to Syri's lips before gently tipping it as the red liquid poured into her. The cat girl eagerly took a sip followed by another, and when she was satisfied, Janette pulled the glass away and set it back on the dresser. Syri turned around, licking her lips and savoring the sweet taste. They locked eyes, with Janette reaching up with her thumb and rubbing a drop of wine off her cheek.

"Missed a spot." She spoke softly, sucking the juice from her thumb. Both of them stood still, frozen in time observing each other. Time skipped for a moment as neither could tell when and how, but suddenly they were pressed against each other, lips kissing with a deep hunger as her hands ran along the waist while her paws and tails stroked her sides. Janette broke the kiss, pushing her lips into Syri's neck and kissing her soft skin many times. The Nekomata gasped, soft addicting moans escaping her as she was spun around and the two fell into bed together.

Who do we follow?
