Chapter 352 by voidcaller17
What's Your Plan?
Victory!
"What're you smiling for? Have you finally given up?" Kurdes asks and I scoff.
"Oh come now, you should know I never give up." I reply causing him to laugh. He lunges for me and I dodge. Good, he's still aiming for my heart. Let's see... Good, I have the MP I need. Kurdes is down to... HOLY SHIT! He's down to 1,727 HP!? That's amazing! But, that could be bad. I don't know if this will work with him that low. I haven't used this spell enough to know if it'll do enough. I think before dodging another attack. Fuck it! No time like the present! I think with a smile before lunging for Kurdes. I cast Lucky Draw as I dodge his fist aiming for my heart. I jump to his left to dodge the attack. I've noticed him using his burned left hand to attack far less often. I continue trying to attack him, knowing I can't land an attack with his enhancements. I dodge another attack from his right arm and see him ready his left. He engulfs it in his pitch-black fog and thrusts it forward. I feel his claws start to pierce my flesh as my Ancient Thought Acceleration activates. I look up to see his prideful smile turn to shock as he sees my own smile. His claws pierce through my flesh and bones before reaching my heart. He grabs it and pierces through my back. I feel pain, much more intense than anything I've felt before shooting through me. It's so intense I feel my consciousness nearly fade. I cough up blood and get ready to cast my spell.
-13,216 Dmg (Vital)
As soon as I see the damage notification my vision and consciousness start to fade. I cast Devour, causing the large dark maw to grow from my shoulder. It bites down on Kurdes, unable to dodge since his hand is still through my chest.

Kurdes Slain +600000 Exp, +410,293$
Devour pushes Kurdes off me, and pulls his hand out of me. I fall to my knees and lean forward. I raise my hands to catch myself so I don't faceplant into the sand. My head's pounding, drowning out everything around me. My entire body feels numb. I raise my hand to the hole where my heart was. I start casting Healing Hands until I run out of mana.

I pass out as something crashes into my side. The last thing I see is the sand beneath me covered in my blood. My hand catching and dripping the blood leaking from my chest.
I wake up to my head pounding. It pounds so hard that it feels like a sledgehammer. I feel something cool run through my hair and along my neck. It covers my head leaving my eyes nose and mouth exposed. It soothes the pounding and makes it much more tolerable. I open my eyes and see I'm laying in Prismas water. I slowly sit up and see Prisma. He's glaring at me angrily and has his arms crossed."How are you feeling?" He asks, in a calm yet angry tone.
"Better." I say and he just nods. "I'm still alive, right?" I ask after a moment of silence.
"Yes, you're still alive. But, why did you do that?" He asks, in the same tone from before.
"Because I couldn't think of a better plan. I remember you said my powers could keep people alive, even from fatal wounds, as long as they had HP. I couldn't land an attack with how fast he was with his enhancements. And with his large MP, he could keep it up far longer than I could dodge. So I needed to create an opening. I knew he'd let his guard down once he landed a fatal blow. So I just had to recover my HP after. It's not good, I wish I could've come up with something better. But I couldn't." I reply causing Prisma to sigh.
"That was still way too reckless." He says after a minute of silence. I just nod in agreement and he sighs again. "Well, you've been out for about seven hours now. Your body's recovered thanks to the healing you and Gaia did. You managed to recreate your heart and recover. You're still in a world of pain right now, but you'll live." He says and I smile a little.
"Wait, you said I recreated my heart, right? Does that mean I have another heart on the beach still?" I ask and he smiles a little awkwardly.
"Yes and no. The heart Kurdes ripped out of you still exists. But Verona used her wind to put it in a magic sealed jar. It'll preserve it. She wants to ask you what to do with it before doing anything." He replies. I nod and a few seconds of awkward silence fills the air. "Well, I'll send you back now. The others, especially Luna, seem very worried about you. Luna wouldn't leave your side since she got to you. She's still awake too. But I don't know when you'll wake up. So don't expect it to still have been seven hours once you wake up." Prisma says and I nod. I sink into the water and pass out.
